410 Sprint Car NARC A Main Event - New Track Reshaped: 4th Time's The Charm? | Stockton Dirt Track

I live about 15 minutes away from this track and I'm a huge sprint car fan. I've traveled all over the state to watch races and made the decision about 2 years ago to stop wasting my money at this track. this is the worst track in the state in my opinion and is not worth paying to go see a race at. And redoing the track I believe has only made it worse. The track is so rough it looks more like a motocross track. Its really sad and i wish someone else that could fix it would take it over. But glad i saved my money once again. I have even spoken to some teams that no longer race here because the say the track destroys the equipment and its financially not worth running the car at.

The reason it doesn’t hold up folks is no clay straight dirt that’s why it ruts up it needs clay loads of it the have the best track preparer next door my man Bobby Panella are they to proud to ask him he worked wonders with Delta speedway need clay badly no use trying with this strait dirt !

I liked the old way it was done and I got to go only once the last time on it. If it was me maybe talk to Lanny his father and grandfather knew a bunch about these things he does too.the mile really got me to thinking champ cars .

It would be cool, To copy the old Baylands track there, They have the room for it!!

The surface is unacceptable and the layout was awkward. I know owning and running a dirt track is a big gamble but the owners need an infusion of capital to make enough track improvements to keep them in business.

I realize new dirt takes time to pack in, but that's not acceptable. One groove, ruts, holes & jumps. Why would fans pay for that? CDV, I appreciate you sitting thru this spectacle. Your production was great as always.

Stockton has always been one of the roughest if not the roughest track out there!! It's a shame they can't get a decent racing surface for drivers.

the noceti's seem like they're working really hard to get this track figured out, but I wonder why Stockton has always been so rough? Is is the surface, their equipment, what's the deal? I really want to see this track go well.

That track's as crappy as the city it stands in , that's not sprint car racing.

From bad to worse....

What a terrible surface. The cars look like they are on a cheap carnival kiddy roller coaster the way they bounced through the newly plowed turns. No wonder these Cali drivers do so well across the country. After cutting your teeth at a track like this, a surface like Eldora has to be like heaven.

These guys are so good and talented but it seams like every track is soo shitty and fucked up it makes me wonder why they even show up half the time to just wear out their stuff,California's tracks are a joke.
