The 90s were a time of functionality and utility, I remember in these days our hardware had reached the zenith of what we now consider the standard for skating, it all felt new, it had that newness feel, I think we were more in touch with the wood and the terrain in those days. Good times. Pure times.
O skate teve um regresso mano, sabe por causa do Instagram, os boards dessa geração atual só querem aparecerem nas redes sociais com manobrinhas sem alma😒
I hope you did get back on your board and busted a few tricks! The last time I broke my short board out, probably around when you posted this comment, I pulled a groin muscle trying to ollie. I'll have to break it back out again, cause why the fuck not. Also, hopefully you watched Toy Machine's Welcome to Hell video and Thrasher's Timebomb videos back in the day. If not, check them out! They were my faves! Cheers brotha! 🍻
interesting to see all obstacles are steep and high, more so than the modern stuff. Street skating seems to have evolved to more technical stuff nowadays :)
skateboarding scene in germany was mad until deep in the 2000's and died in the 2010's. Since the 2020's it's reviving a little, but we're so far from events like this. and yeeting your board into the crowd would get you sued these days
Pereba era quase o único q andava na gringa de igual pra igual, mais daí a galera nova começou andar muito de switch, ele ficou meio parado no tempo, mais era um excelente skater 😉
