This is my review of the Design Essentials Natural Products for Natural Hair. You can visit natural.designe... to find more information on each of these products.
This has to be one of the most informative reviews I've seen. The demostrations over an elapsed period of time, along with the raiting scale and reccomendations on what products to use each with is going to make picking up the products I want so much easier.
This is the best hair video I have ever seen on RU-vid!!! You get over 5 stars!!! You were straight to the point! No unnecessary talking! No smacking yo lips! No jokes and carrying on like you wanna be seen and never had hair before!! You were so professional, and you are use to your hair and self!! No acting like you were trying to win a GRAMMY!! Most of these women on RU-vid need to take notes it’s so annoying, thank you job well done. I am purchasing most of these products and I am adding you to my favorites list.
wow I'm late .... I very rarely leave comments on RU-vid but a RU-vid video don't get no better than this very professional, organized, and give you a taste of everything, and I like how you keep it real and explain everything thank you so much keep doing what you do and do you
I know this is an old review but I'm just now seeing it. I have to say that this is the BEST product review that I have ever seen on youtube!! I loved the detail that you gave and I will be buying these products to try!! Thank you!!!!
In re the edge tamer, I found (by accident) that adding a little water makes the hold last longer and stay smooth; It's almost like the water activates the product. I've looked for an edge control that does exactly what it says on the label for about 2 years for my natural hair and this is it. My edges stay down the entire day and even til the next day. I don't have to worry about doing my hair and by the time I get to the car it's like I've never put edge control on.... and my hair stayed layed in Vegas heat hunty....thanks for the thorough review
This is probably the best product review ever. Great job. Also, that was the first time I've ever seen bantu knots on a man and they looked awesome on you.
I am a Cosmetologist who is looking for products for my salon in the near future. This video is so helpful. When you talked about the heavy handedness, that's me all day. I am learning that a lot of products are concentrated and don't take much. I had to learn the hard way lol my hair had a sticky film and quick build up. Thank you for the vid suga.
JusTerah hope you can answer me... I am presently finishing up cosmetology school and is looking for product for my home salon.... Can this brand be use for all hair type or just natural hair and can you plz recommend some products and I beg you to tell me what hit type they work best with...
This was the most helpful review I've ever seen on RU-vid. Thank you so much for being so thorough in assessing this line. I now know exactly where to begin in trying these products. Thanks again.
Ever since I saw you using these products, I've debated about which I should get and try on my hair when trying rod sets. This review of the line has definitely helped as it's thorough and completely detailed. You get FIVE STARS, AHG!!!
Very detailed YES YESSSS!! Thank you!! I especially like how you broke it down into categories!! A+ for you! I got tired of seeing people playing in the mirror with their hair but not giving much commentary about the products!! Again!! GREAT JOB!!
I'm not sure what nappyhead haters gave you a thumbs down but you did a great job. I'd love to see your advice on the shampoo and conditioner results. Thanks for doing this, it really helped.
I love how descriptive and informative this review is. I was waiting on your review of this line before i tried it. Im glad i did because now i have a better idea of what will work for my hair
Great, thorough review. I like that you have used all of these products for a good period of time before doing the review and have videos to show how you used each one.
I'm obsessed with Design Essentials Natural products. A couple months ago, I went to Sally's and saw this brand (and it's prices). I was on the search for a shampoo that was moisturizing, cleansing, and not heavy. This product line is by far my favorite. After big chopping one year ago, I spent the first 11 months searching for products that my hair would appreciate. A little background about my hair: My hair type is (I think) a combination of 3b-3c. My strands are very fine though my hair is quite dense, the curls have a loose s-curl shape, and my hair absorbs and retains moisture very well. The Honey Curlforming Custard gives me a low to medium hold for the days when I want to wear my hair slicked back in a ponytail. I highly recommend this product. You get what you pay for.
Great Review! I have wanted to try this product line for awhile now but I could not find anyone on RU-vid that gave a detailed review until your video popped up....Thank You so much for the TIME and EFFORT you put into this review. This has helped me TREMENDOUSLY! Might I add I LUV watching your videos, keep up the EXCELLENT work!!!!!!
Thank you so much for the this review. I love Design Essentials for my natural hair and this really helped to explain why certain products did not work for my hair type!
Awesome review...thank you so much for sharing. I do not like the leave in conditioner because it left my hair very dry. Now I know why :) Thanks and I love your hair!!
Great review hun love the set up of the video as well. This is the only video that I have watched that actually help me determine whether or not I will try the product. Thanks for sharing and that's for your hard work and dedication. .
Dude!!! I totally agree with this sister! Very well done video-lots of info and fantastic visuals!! MORE PLEASE!! I just subscribed to your channel! You got me wanting to try these products-I passed on them because of the price but, I'm thinking bout checking them out!!
Curl Stretching Creme is my Absolute Favorite!!! It really does Elongate my tightly coiled texture. I’ll try the edge control when I’m out if my staple edge control “Shine ‘n Jam Silk Edges”.
I love the brand. It is the first brand I started using and my go to. But they need to pay you for the way you presented this review. I loved watching it and knowing that what you stated was true.
Excellent video. Detailed and thorough. Thanks it was very helpful. This products just launched in South Africa and I cant wait to try them out. That Stretch cream gel 👌
OMG I have never watched such an informative product review. It was thoroughly done without being boring and overwhelming. I am a design essentials user and I agree 100% with the ones I know of. Great Job. Keep up the good work.
Silicones are not always bad. They help block out the moisture from the air so your hair will remain straight and not revert right away. You can always wash them out with a clarifying shampoo (which has sulfates in it).
This is an excellent review video of these products. I am glad that they will work on my 4c hair type because I have a hard time finding something will help my natural hair stay moisturized. Thank you for the wonderful review and I am glad that I came across your channel. Yeaaaaaaa! :)
Wow, just did a twa today and i used design essentials for my relaxed hair and wanted to stick with it and try the natural line, and this definitely help sooo much!!
I really love how thorough this review is. The rating scale is superb as it helps those like myself who live in a climate with variable extremes of weather. Great job! I wish you were near near me & could hook me up with one of those straw sets.
I know this is an older video, but I'm grateful I stumbled onto it. Your hair is an absolute dream. My question is about the rollers you used. I've only been transitioning since the first of the year, but I've had several haircuts. I have very thick, but fine hair that grows SO unevenly. That's another issue. I haven't had a single set that achieved any definition. I have a crate of great products so I'm just frustrated.
Thank you! You made so simple! I just started my curly hair transitioning few months ago so I’ve only tried the co-Walsh and it is the best product I’ve tried so far, plus I love the smell. I was searching for more information before expending $$ and this is the best video I found
Dude! This was an excellent and very informative video!! I loved it-very, very informative!! Where are you located-I want you to do my hair!!! Again, excellent job on the video-EXCELLENT!
Love ur video! Just did the big chop to go all natural.Enjoyed ur reviews on design essentials., and looking for videos on reviews on hair growth products. Where is your shop located in Atl? Love the reviews without all the hype & drama. Thumbs up! Subscribed!
This was an excellent and very informative video. Loved the rating scale! Based on your video and my needs I want to try the curl defining creme(?..can't remember the name but it's not the gel that I originally wanted.) thanks again!!!
This was an excellent review! I'm new to You Tube, When I saw a guy pop up on screen, I was like WTF! But that goes to show you, don't judge. You are indeed a Hair God. Excellent tutorials & synopsis of the product line. I bought everything except the hair lotion this weekend & couldn't figure out what to do with styling my hair. You solved that. I'm hooked & subscribing. Thank you, love.👍
I enjoyed your Video as Always, I started using the Daily Moisturizing Lotion Like 4 Months ago and i agree with everything you said about it in the video. i use it to seal in moisture after i shampoo & Deep Condition. I also apply it on my scalp in between washes.
I just want to thank you for introudicing this line to me. I absolutely love the gel. It's $16 but well worth it. I have bought 3 jars so far. I am now going to try the leave-in and another product since it's on sale at walgreens right now buy one get one half off.
I really enjoyed this vid AHG! Bravo! So informative! Your presentation was flawless and I loved especially how you became so excited once you got to that last product near the end! 😆
Hi! Did you ever use the Almond & Avacado Sulfate Free Shampoo, and the conditioner ? I used them today and i found that my hair got a lot softer but I feel like I lost a lot of my curl pattern in certain areas!
Do you seal the hair's moisture before or after apply the twist and setting lotion. I apply the moisturizer and then the setting lotion and my hair is Dry
Thank you for all the work you did.. This review was very helpful. Please you can do this again for me for all the products you received. Thank you again. Keep being you :)
