I need help if possible!! I have a bunch of work done to my 5th gen and I am stuck in the 11s. Mod list: SS4 NFC cam. Stock heads with some porting. Holley high ram. 103 TB. Trunion upgrade. Long tube headers. Catless borla exhaust. TH400 with 4500 stall. Just added MSD two step(not tested yet) full body car on drag pack. Tuned by GPI(remotely). Should be in 10s I think and not sure why I can’t get there? Please help with some insight.
Well the th400 alone is robbing you of alot of power. Everyone raves about them but there's a downside nobody wants to admit. They Rob power and there are not Street friendly. You'll find yourself choosing to go to the store or on a highway in a pickup truck before your Camaro because it's just a racecar at that point. Secondly what stall Converter? Because with a th400 you NEED a top tier Converter (and a lock-up) to make things somewhat efficient.
@@The1st60ft trans and stall converter both from FTI. So a high quality company. This is mainly a drag car. Going to be getting a ZL1 next year for the street.
@1WickedSS no not what I meant. Lock-up Converter. FTI sells them. Your converter slip past the 1/8th mile is probably very high. A lockup converter would help with that alot.
Something seems not right my buddies 5th Gen FBO GPI S3 Cam went 10.8@126 with a Circle D 4K stall. That trap means ur down on power or something is off with ur combo. “Gearing/tire combo”
