Every single mod on this car is tasteful and perfect and doesn't devalue the car, awesome little package and will beat 99% of all the modern cars in terms of driving engagement.
@@hybridshift well it does, it fits no problem but needs the supports that were not put in from the factory or it’ll probably fall out. It’s a heavy v8 remember. The 1 series and 3 series e chassis are very similar
No intercooler upgrade?!? I have the same engine in my 2014 Z4 35is that was also tuned by Mosselman and they could not go any higher than 380HP and 590NM because the intake temps got to high and I needed a intercooler upgrade to get more power.. Or does the 1M already have a better intercooler stock?
They have a 2009-10 N54 DCT 335i in Germany which is basically the same thing in pre LCI shape. Not as highly tuned and missing the upgraded fan but that's easily fixed with modification. I've got a 335i DCT in the UK
Every time Max says the brakes are rubbish, the car in question has an aftermarket brake kit. People need to stick to the OE setup and focus and getting a quality pad and rotor.
Lol, no. The pads were worn and you can see the rotors were worn. On top of that, it has stock rear brakes. The car needs more brakes for that much horsepower.
That's great Mr. Max I'm supposted you from this car, BMW 1M it's historical car from many car M competition series and We're appropriate you can review this history car M Coupe series Thanks Mr. Max Greeting from Indonesian
I agree with everything you’ve said. I have an 09 135 with 44 thousand original miles. It’s port injected with Pure stage 2+ turbos. Car makes 635 at the wheels & its quick! I could turn it up to 700ATW’s if I wanted but they’d be maxed. I think certain cars like the E46 with the S54 or the E92 with the S65 are nice M engine cars. But all the higher end performance cars & certain specs are M cars in my eyes. Like the car your in, my car has everything that car has except the limited slip diff. My car has the factory M suspension (which a lot of people don’t get in their M package) & M exhaust, it has the M sills, seats & steering wheel. I’ve driven plenty of E92 M3’s, my car is the same but a bit mor agile. I run Apex lightweight wheels & Michelin pilot super sports. The newer bmw m cars all have that 3.0 liter straight 6 twin or single turbo engine. The early M2’s came with the N55. I guess the B58 & S58 are the new craze but I still love my N54. I love them all, they’re all great in there own little ways. Some of my mods consist of, tranny is tuned with Xhp, 7” ETS intercooler, AFE dry cone dual filter intake, twin turbo smart bov’s with 60mm trumpets, phoenix aluminum plenum with PI etc. If your interested check it out. My pics are on instagram @murk_135. The car also has over 2k in titanium hardware. Every nut, bolt & screw is done. Keep up the great videos, I just subscribed a day or two ago….💪🏻💯🏁
Great car, it might not technically be an M car, but this doesn't actually change a thing in the grand scheme of it. Same as the 850CSI... However, this is a real M car, but never dubbed as one. All wonderful cars. Great video guys.
