If you are sneakin food in then, dolmas. Kinda the perfect food to sneak in. They are small and don't make any noise when you eat them. I love them! At the theater I like ordering truffle fries, cauliflower wings, and fish taco. The Roadhouse is a bit fancy tho for a movie theater.

SDCC time is also the anniversary of finding this podcast in the first place when I went crazy watching every reaction to the original "Ready Player One" trailer. These two knuckleheads did their own reaction, and it sent me down the rabbit hole of everything Fatman Beyond and Fatman on Batman. It still makes me laugh!

In the movie ending the shark gets blown up in typical movie explosion. In the book the shark eventually dies from harpoon wounds. Also in the book Hooper, Richard Dreyfuss, gets eaten by the shark.

I grew up with Luigi’s Italian Ice in the Midwest. Which is still sold at some grocery stores. Martinelli’s is that brand that has apple juice and sparking juices/cider. If it’s them I don’t know they made Italian ice. 😊

Mark had such a brilliant answer to the question about which film set he would want to go to and spend time on. T2 was such a seminal film. It’s importance often feels like it has gotten lost with the glut of fantasy and super hero films we’ve been able to gorge ourselves on the past 25 years. Not to mention the bad taste left in people’s mouths by the onslaught of inferior sequels that followed it. But Terminator 2 is a fantastic film for all the reasons Mark elaborated on.

I took it that not only was Dr Strange saying that this was the one, but the *reason* he let Tony know, is because he knew that Tony was thinking about doing what he was going to do, and that he'd probably die; and Strange was letting him know that (to be poetic), "Its the only way". So if Tony was having any doubts or trying to think of a way other than having to take the stones, he knew that this was the one.

I completely agree with their review on the Acolyte. It's nowhere near as bad as the "internet" says. Lots of great ideas in theory, but the execution wasn't as good. I didn't mind the number of episodes as long as they were in the 35-45 minute length.

Something rarely is as bad as the internet says. I think it was the worst of the SW live action shows so far, but not as bad as they claim. It wasn't good though. Three things stand out to me about The Acolyte. The first I agree with you on, it had some great ideas that could've made their own show but they failed to do any justice. Secondly, only two of the characters were interesting, one was very underused, as soon as she was they killed her and the other was killed off-screen. Sol was a terrible Jedi, the others were mostly bland and Sith boy was a joke. Lastly, some of the writing and plot was horrendous, made no sense and a good portion of the acting was just as poor.

@@positivetakes5592 I liked Obi and Mando 3, at least enough to not put them at the bottom. They have their faults but also enough that I liked. Boba Fett on the other hand is different. If it hadn't had the Mando parts, it would most definitely be the worst but it did have those parts and they were great IMO. That pushes Boba Fett up from the worst, even if those parts didn't really belong in a Booba Fett show.

Open Bar and Nerdrotic had these incredible reviews. Chrissie Mayr had a hilarious Leslie Hedland parody. I discovered Snarky Jay, Tyrone Magnus, 🤖 Head, Echo Chamberlain, and a few others. So, I'm looking forward to another season of the Acolyte. I hope they give it endless seasons, I can't wait for the Ray movie now, because the reviews are so entertaining. I miss the Acolyte now, because every Wednesday we had a dope review and now we've got nothing.
