I think the very short runner on the head limits it’s abilities although with the right intake you could fix some of the short runner problems

@@EverythingHorsepower do they flow good numbers

@@davidreed6070 the factory ones don’t from what I’ve seen and many of the aftermarket heads have fairly weak advertised flow ratings the heads we used on this engine had about the best flow numbers we could find but as I say the intake you use can make or break an FE head

How have you not heard much about a 428scj not many made but definitely not unknown
