The Rubik's Cube has 43 quintillion different possible combinations. Understanding such a number is hard for people to grasp, but putting it into perspective helps to show how large of a number it is.

@Spugler2
@Spugler2 Год назад
1 in 43 quintillion squared
@huwpickrell1209
@huwpickrell1209 Год назад
@@Spugler2 no the answer depends on the number of cubes on earth. For two randomly chosen cubes (already chosen) to be in the same orientation then its 1 in 43 quintrillion. For two randomly choose cubes (already chosen) on earth to be in a specific chosen orientation only then is it one in 43 quintrillion squared. To answer the original question we really need to know the number of cubes since we have to look at all the pairs e.g 1st matching the 2nd 1st matching the 3rd 1st matching the 4th ... 2nd matching the 3rd 2nd matching the 4th....... etc..

No way, this seems so misleading calculation...You need to consider each piece-color side is not separate, you need to move set of 2-sides for edge pieces and 3-sides of corner pieces together...Moreover, all pieces cannot go alone/independently at all the positions so factorial calculation doesn't exactly work there....Do you mean to say I can solve 43 quantillion combinations with just few algorithm steps every time??? Not possible Bro...Please get this validated with Mathematician or expert... Thank you
