Too bad Blink broke up back then, Tom and Mark seemed like they were really growing as lyricists. Would of been interesting what they would of come up with if there was an album between Neighborhoods and the self-titled album.
If you listen to the lyrics of this song, and a couple of more in the other songs from +44, you'd know that some of the verses are pointing to Tom. Some of the verses was disguised as a woman so people wouldn't think it's from him. If you understand and know what went down behind the break up of blink and that you hear the lyrics from +44 it makes perfect sense
i hate the people who says ava sucks they don't sucks they play just a different music a cool music is great and really creative plus 44 is cool i love it mark tom and travis are the greatest musicians that i know
@mxpx1000 No It Isn't is the main song about tom, but Lillian is also another song that is directed at him and Mark's past with Blink, but the second half changes the mood to make it seem like it's more of saddening love story.
at the begining sound kind of a western music with cowboys and all that stuff or the part of the ghost rider's movie when that horse and the other rider appears, though the song it's amazing
@Brokenslipper i agree to a point but i don't think mark would want every song he writes to be interpreted about him not being with tom. he still wanted his new band to be tomless and to be successful for it's music.
@mxpx1000 most of the songs that i write do have background stories, besides...when they were writing the album they said more than one song was about the breakup of blink

u either havnt trained ur ear to theactual song and just think ur playing it rite or since most the songs from themm have power chords and u relly can just pick those up by playin each fret.
hmm atleast tom delonge can strum upwards.....regardless punk rock music isnt famous for its captivating guitar players....whereas Delonge has branched out and played different styles, with more more than just power chords
