I went with my dad to look at a 4420 when I was maybe 10. It was super clean and low houred. I believe the man was asking $28,000. I hardly ever went to look at machinery with him because I was always in school or something. Your combine reminds me of that day.
Liked seeing there 4420 working! Better than watching all those 16 row combines😁 It brings back some great memories of learning on a JD 45 with a 10' header👍👍👍
The first combine I ever drove was a JD 45 with a 2 row corn head and no cab. Eat a lot of dust on it. Nothing wrong with technology but I still like the older stuff. Thanks for watching!!
Man if you take care of old machinery it will give you a human lifetime of work if not more, simply for work. Everything from before the 21 century was made to last through time!
The man I bought this combine from took really good care of it. I would say it's as good as the day it was made. Fun to operate too! Thanks for watching!!
My cousin has a 4400. I spent the day yesterday helping him get it unplugged. The little 4420 does a good job. It's fun to operate. Thanks for stopping by!!
Great video sir! I enjoyed watching an old piece of machinery get the job done so smoothly. It looks like it does a heck of a job. Are you going to rake and bale your corn stalks?
The combine does great! The man I bought it from took really good care of it. I've never baled any corn stalks. I know people that do but I never have. Thanks!!
Man yeah!!! Shelling corn!! That combine really eats through it, some in law seems to be doing great !!! Boy I love that ford!! Cant wait to hear how it did and how the corn was!! Sorry I was late!! Thank you for bringing us along, look fwd to more Mr Bill!!
Had to stop for a few days and let the corn dry down a little more. I checked it at 16% but it was 19% when I got it to the elevator. Going to try and tomorrow if the weather clears.
