44871 & 45407 haul the Great Britain XVI & a short visit to the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway

John, the shot of the black 5s shows you don’t have to go on the lickey to get a belter! Sounded great having a good run upto the bottom of the bank.

I caught them too at bowling green lane overbridge and it’s been 8 years since these two last came through here John

Fantastic shots of the 'Great Britain' John, great to see the Black 5s in top form. I don't think 44871 & 45407 haven't been paired up on tour duties for a while, so it's great to see it done for the 'GB XVI' - although given the circumstances, I suppose there's not a lot else available with regards to motive power! I understand why you'd want to avoid the Lickey - I got to Vigo Bridge just after 8:00am and even then was VERY fortunate to secure a position amongst the crowd; I settled on a low-level shot so as to not block anyone stood behind, which I think worked very well in the end. The Black 5s gave a good show tackling the 1 in 37, and I'm glad I could get video coverage of the spectacle. Please feel free to check out my efforts if you wish to do so. I liked your sequences from the C&PR too, I might have to pay a visit there in the future. Dartmouth's 45xx looks well suited to the line too, it fits the 'branch line' atmosphere quite nicely.
