Its not a sample. Skrach G, made it on a EPS i think? A lot of influence from the west coast tho. We made that in 1994. I have the instrumental show track to that still.
Thanks for filling me in, bro! I'm glad to see you're still lurkin'. You guys went hard, you from CO? I'm in Seattle, still bumpin' your old tracks now and again. The sample I was referring to was the little bit around the chorus with the scratching, it sounded like it was a sample from another record. Anyway, I love that '90s style synthesizer bending groove and slap, the scratching and sample, or maybe it was one of you guys with a voice effect are just two more elements of that style that perk me up. This beat is awesome, and yeah, there was not a single part of the US that didn't have some underground G rap with that West Coast influence, but the way you rock it and your spin on it make it what it is. I digg a lot of Western Midwest shit from all over CO and AZ and NV. You all have unique aspects to your flavor. Did you record anything much else? Other groups or solo shit?
So that's live scratching? Filthy. But what about the little clip that repeats during the scratching? That's not from another record? That is dope that you still have the instrumental after all these years. Any chance you'd be willing to share it, maybe e-mail? Do you have any copies of your records you'd sell, or even a CD-R with all your stuff compiled, even a .RAR, I'd shoot you some dough for that
