Stephanie - David Archuleta's 2-yr church mission was announced in December 2011 and the mission started March 28. 2012. This video was recorded over a month before his mission. In the 10 weeks before his mission David was leading man in a 25-episode Philippines miniseries Nandito Ako, recorded the Philippines OPM album Forevermore, did some Bench promos and shoots and had many appearances in the Philippines (including this one). Then David returned to the US and recorded the album BEGIN, finishing the night before his mission started. Also, before leaving, David recorded in some short greeting videos to be saved and shown to fans while he's away (for example his 2013 holiday greeting). David should return from his mission around April 2014.

The blending of their voices brought me goosebumps..

He made the announcement last Dec. He leaves for his Mission end of Mar. Meanwhile, he had several projects in MNL w/c he finished in 38 days: (1) starred in Nandito Ako mini-series, (2) headlined the 2012 Close-up Pyro Palooza, (3) became a Bench/Fix endorser and (4) recorded an OPM album called Forevermore which is out now. in Midway, he did several shows in Singapore. Right now he is finishing a US album. All of these for his fans for the next 2 years he is away.

@4evaiheartu He came to Manila, to do his last major project before he leaves for his Mission. He did a mini-seires called Nandito Ako, headlined the 2012 Close-up PyroPalooza, became an ondorser of Bench/Fix and recorded an OPM album of hit love songs. He did this for 38 days in Manila. That's why you are seeing tons of videos on him. It is expected that he will enter the Mormon Training Center (MTC) by next week. The announcement on his mission was made diring his Christmas Tour 2011

Nice to see if Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, David Archuleta and Julie Anne San Jose in a major concer in #DA2014. If the news is true, that MVP (the owner of TV5) buy out the GMA7 Kapuso worth 48Billion pesos, then I think on 2014 David Archuleta will have a Primetime Series on Kapuso Network. And this concert might came true. Hehe. Looking Forward for that. DA on Party Pilipinas hahaha :D #DA2014
