After understanding the book of revelation from which you taught I am now a preterist follower. I'm not sure if I'm full or partial preterist yet. I'm still trying to understand both views. Thanks for another wonderful lecture. Whenever I feel struggles in my life I am reminded of what they did to Him nearly 2000 years ago. They beat him to within inches of his life, then hung him on a cross to die. He accepted this so that I might have peace. It’s truly humbling that he did this for me. I’m not worthy.

I have a ? For Bruce! Can you help me with the new heavens and new earth in revelation? It says there will be no more death, so does that mean our souls are not held in Sheol when we die but we go straight to heaven at our death? I’m trying to look at it symbolically like revelation is written but that no more death in the new earth we are living in confuses me if the last thing Jesus will abolish is death…..I heard someone say He abolished death symbolically with destroying the temple and the death sacrifices, so I need help!
Bruce do you have any lectures or information on where the resurrection on the “last day” started in the old covenant age? I have read the Pharisees believed in a spiritual resurrection (Paul says we have the physical first and then the spiritual)…..I have also heard by full preterists that Jesus’s physical resurrection had to happen physically to be a “witness” of life continuing in Him……I hope you have some info on this for why we are promised a resurrection physically as well! Thank you!

One more question for you! So sorry……in revelation, earth represents Israel, the sea represents gentile nations (abyss)…….the new earth is the new Israel (which we are apart of and make up), what does the new heaven represent verses the old? Does it represent Jesus? Thank you!
There were 2 sabbaths in Passover week. Jesus was crucified on 14 Nisan - Passover. (Wednesday) A special sabbath on 15 Nisan (Thursday) Women prepared spices 16 Nisan (Luke 23:55) The weekly sabbath on 17 Nisan. Women retuned with spices and doesn’t find Jesus as He resurrected on 18 Nisan. 3 days 3 nights.
