Purple and gold are my lifetime favorite colors. This painting is gorgeous!!! I would call it Purple Haze!!!

I think the light purple is kind of like a Periwinkle.. this piece is FABULOUS

I think "SMOKEY LAVENDER," is a great name. I would like to see teals and copper, like the statue of Liberty. I think another good combo would be Oranges and a turquoise for accent.

I like the size of the canvas, it's a nice presentation.

I'd love to see one with a taupe or light smokey brown base. Maybe with some teals and browns. Or a taupe with some peachy colors and a little green.

I vote for definitely sticking to the size canvas you are using now. For a while. I think big paintings are really useful! Then I'd say move to bigger rectangles, but slightly more square.

Beautiful colours, I’ll have to get back to doing a few Dutch pours,. I’ve been doing a lot of different techniques lately, but a Dutch pour is just so dang pretty….especially with the split base colors. Just lovely as always Kanella.
