Oh these colors are gorgeous. The color split series is awesome. I think this is a periwinkle color. But love it. You are the queen of the Dutch pours. Happy birthday to your hubby.
I would call it dusty Lilac. It reminds me of our lilac bush growing up. That Royal Purple and the mauve together really pop! I like where it turns bright pink too.
I am so very excited for the Naples workshop!!! I definitely agree with your husband. I think that both of those paintings turned out beautiful but the gold would definitely give the smoky one an amazing pop of color!
I think you should name this beautiful color Ciraco violet. This painting turned out so beautiful. All three of them are gorgeous 😍. I really like the teals and turquoises and greens of the ocean. That might look good.
Gorgeous Kanella! Beautiful color palette. I would call that color a grey lilac. You could make a tropical inspired one with turquoise greens, blues, and gold.
The sage green is beautiful, I love that blue though. Good call moving the gold down in the line up on this one you have great intuition. You are very kind ordering on behallf of your viewers. Not many people would take that on. Once again thank you for sharing.
To me it is a royal purple or amethyst! 💜 Gorgeous color choices! 🥰 That is amazing! 👏 Evergreen would be lovely mixed more smokey, like an evergreen forest in the morning mist! 🌲 Happy birthday, Matt!! 🎉 I'm just the day after you! I agree with him, the blue looks dull next to the sage without the contrasting pop of gold! 🌟🌟
Kanella, oh be still my heart. I love the other two, but this is so beautiful and very luxurious. You are so very talented and experienced. Your excitement is very contagious. I think "SMOKEY LAVENDER," is a great name. I would like to see teals and copper, like the statue of Liberty. I think another good combo would be Oranges and a turquoise for accent.
Oh oh oh such a gorgeous picture absolutely amazing you do such a terrific job online store All over the garden how it changes the colors and what it looks like when it's done happy painting happy pouring until next time
I vote for definitely sticking to the size canvas you are using now. For a while. I think big paintings are really useful! Then I'd say move to bigger rectangles, but slightly more square.
I would say the base paint is Lilac. It’s very rich. I love the composition. Tell Matt to say ‘HEY’ at the top of the stairs so he doesn’t scare the pants off you next time. LOL! Take care, be safe. 💕 Dorset, UK
Yes yes yes and yes 👏 well done, I love these colour splits, they’re gorgeous…. I think If you’re onto a good thing ,stick to it , you’ll only get better, though this ‘lilac’ one is perfect, so keep going!…. I think a turquoise, aqua ,green/blue colour would be nice next , everyone loves turquoise… Thanks Karen
Now THIS is the BEST ONE yet!! That first violet color is ELECTRIFYING!! This is beyond GORGEOUS!!!! You chose the PERFECT colors for this one Kanella!! And the smokey purple base color is the PERFECT contrast to the other violets!! Definitely lavender haze!!!! I'm betting this one sells VERY quickly!! BEAUTIFUL, Kanella...just BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Happy Birthday to your hubby Kanella! I like both sage and blue base but agree the 24k gold adds depth. Love the purple palette and the elongated canvases. Vertical orientation for me too.
I would love to see you do a rose gold, navy, lilac, cream and dark grey...I think it would make a very romantic soft piece😁 or even a rose gold and browns!
Happy Birthday 🎉Matt🎉. I just love this piece it is done in my favourite colours. I just wish I had a room to put it in. I love purples. Another stunning piece Kanella
Beautiful colours, I’ll have to get back to doing a few Dutch pours,. I’ve been doing a lot of different techniques lately, but a Dutch pour is just so dang pretty….especially with the split base colors. Just lovely as always Kanella.
Very beautiful Kanella! I just love the colors 🟣 I think the color is more lavender then lilac and it gorgeous! Excellent presentation! 😍 I found the flower hairdryer today for 25$ and I’m so happy! Have a wonderful week! 🎨
