Just found this and watched every minute! Loved it. So nice that you took the time to record this for us. Dean Butler is my favorite, and I love Alison Arngrim’s personality and enthusiasm. Baby Grace turned out to be a lovely young adult, too…..and I’m one of the few who genuinely loved the Carter family, so it was good to see them. Such a wonderful cast all around.
Yep. I love the way the entire community would rally to help when another was in need, but nobody expected anything. They were always grateful when someone offered them help. Now it's the other way around. People offer nothing and expect everything.
Thank you for sharing this! I LOVE Little House on the Prairie! I hope some day they decide to have a cast reunion in Simi Valley, California where the series was filmed at! Charlotte mentioned in this video, that they were interviewed in Simi Valley a few years back. I honestly think they would get a much better cast "turn out" if it was in California considering most of the cast lives there already.
I love Little House on the Prairie. Michael Landon and all the people who were on the show were awesome. Love hearing about what happened while making of the show.
Thank you so so much for your patience in holding the camera for more than 2 hours. My goodness. How was your arms after that. I'm so happy to of been able to see this reunion because of you. I watched the whole video and absolutely loved it. Than you 😁🌿💖
Thank you for recording this reunion. It´s an opportunity for whole of the world to remember part of the cast of this great series. Nellie still beautiful and Dean Butler is always available. Come more videos.
Yes, Dean and Alison seem to attend pretty much every Little House event like this, which I absolutely love. It really shows how much they care about the legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder, and the fans who still watch the show after nearly 50 years.
Thank you for filming this reunion... I’m still a little house fan after 40 years... in 2021, I still watch it... the whole series instills family values... if more people would watch it, they’d get a good idea about a life as a farmer and other pioneer jobs... it must have been life of hard work and a lot of innocence without cell phones, social media and tv... I wish I could have lived in the 1800’s...
@@schrodingerssnufalufagus9292 no doubt… the 1800’s were really the western frontier… life back then was a hard, but innocent life… no cell phones, no internet… they got up early and put a country life day… it was probably a good life…
Big fan of Little House on the Prairie for years, even now and I still keep watching it here in Italy on TV. It's incredible how successful this series keeps being. I would have liked to be there in person to see this reunion, it would have been fantastic. It has always been one of my dreams getting to meet the great actors of this wonderful series. Sorry Michael Landon, Victor French and some other actors have died. Hope there will be other reunions in the future. How would I come to know about these news? The Little House in the Prairie has such a success and people love it because it shows a very genuine way of living, and puts in evidence all good values to live a happy life.... Love, sincerity, honesty, cooperation, friendship..... If we lived a life based on these values, the world would be so different and this is what Michael Landon wanted us to learn. He was a wonderful person!
This was great. .. yes the camera was shaky but I really wanted to watch this and see some of the characters I haven’t seen since the show ended.. Alison Arngrim is hilarious.. what a joy to listen to .. she makes you interested and always has great stories and I love the way she makes fun of herself. 😂
Amen to the comment regarding how we in America CANNOT “whitewash” the truth regarding our past. I agree 100% that our experiences teach us to learn or rather should enhance everyone’s lives whether it has been written, chiseled on a monument, painted on a picture, built onto a building or even past down through generations by singing particular songs. We can’t wipe our history off the planet like an eraser; it is our responsibility to provide and protect instruction for our children by sharing our past. It is by allowing the past to be debated, discussed and properly comprehended via these teachable moments. Hopefully we can ensure that our future will have resolutions better than our current state of affairs. It is through these decisions I do pray we earnestly have the ability to work, love, play, hold one another’s hands and have compassion for one another. God Bless 💕
The past is important not only because there were things about it that were wrong and archaic that we can learn from and know to never repeat, but also because there were things about it that were good and virtuous - that in many ways were better than the present - that we need to conserve. Progress is all about keeping the good and dispensing with the bad. But in order to do that, we need to preserve history.
Radames Pera is such a class act. He was the one Michael Landon threw under the bus, yet he still shows up for these reunions and has a blast with the others.
It's good to see John jr. I was so sad how his character ended. I'm glad he's ok. LOL I still watch the show and I own all the seasons on dvd. :) Great to see the some of the cast here!
Very disappointed with the video camera! ! Was really looking forward to watching this. Little House On The Prairie is one of my all time favorites! Just very disappointed!
it was great see the cast all together...seem like really nice people....I wish a remake of this series be made or a series of movies featuring the ariginal cast....as many as possible....would make for a very refreshing change from the horrible stuff on TV nowadays.....
Whoever had the camera needs to learn when you are filming you are filming, stay focused...so sad that those watching are feeling sick because of the movement from the one holding the phone....
@@monicaforte7618 Oh wahh... Do you need a bottle and a nap? Just appreciate that it was filmed and he/she stood there while probably tired just to bring it to you for FREE just so you could COMPLAIN.
What’s up with the camera Person , 🍺 🍺 🍺 ? Dean Really spiced up the series. Congratulations on surviving Cancer Ms. Beatle . Everyone Looks so good . Pampers ! So fun to get back stories. All are so down to earth, love that . My favorite show growing up then watched again with my children and now with grandkids . Love ❤️ Love 💗 Love this show . Whole family can watch . Baby Grace all grown up and Beautiful young Lady . Thank you Little House cast . 2 🍿🍿 popcorns up . Best show ever !
I’m not having trouble but I have seen this series so many times! The Carter boys were only around for like a season, maybe just not as familiar.....same with John Jr....(actually always kind of got on my nerves 😳)
I grew up watching you guys for years ❤Still watch as often as I can. It’s great to see you all on here and other videos. I’ve seen quite a few of you, but I was wondering why Willie has never been on with Nellie lol. Love you all!
Little house is my unparallelled, all-time, favorite TV show. Hands down! I own every episode, and know almost all of them by heart. I won't go on and on about how much it has meant to me. But I do have a question that I want to send out into cyberspace: Has Ketty Lester (Hester Sue Terhune) or Moses Gunn (Joe Kagan) ever been invited to a LHOTP reunion?
I am not sure . I would hope so . But moses Gunn died years ago so it is possible that it was before all this started ( I am pretty sure it was ). As far as ketty i would hope that they do at least extend a invite to her
So Happy you and your mom had a Great time and hope you both get to go to the reunion in 2024😊 The cast members seem so nice and Alison Arngrim still looks great!! She hasn’t aged☺️
Jennifer Napoli they sure are very nice . The carters where kinda nervous because this was there first time doing anything like this . I kinda felt sorry for the Carter boys there where times that they where just sitting there with no one in their lines .
The camera wow he has learn how keep the camera still it was nice to see alot the actors little was my favorite show What to the others Mellisa Gibert brother Jon and the other children who had parts.
I truly appreciate that someone made this video. That stated, please use a tripod, and next time get somebody without shortness of breath. Throughout the video someone very close to the video camera is heaving and seemingly out of breath.
Jason and Cassandra Cooper were so adorable to me! Those kids were amazing actors! Oh and I loved Carrie Ingalls! I still watch little house! The stories are so touching! Drama, humor, sadness, family, and mostly happy endings! We need more shows on TV like that now!
prairiegirl71, there is not mention of the location of this reunion for some reason? I understand there was already another reunion in Tombstone, AZ for the 40th anniversary? Is this a different place?
hold tight to your dreams sweetie .what a great show to be a fan of ! the cast members are sooo nice . if you get a chance to meet them do it .it will be a great experience
I don't remember the John Jr character I'll have to watch the series again. Too bad Jonathan Gilbert and Matthew Labyorteaux are never included in these reunions
Thanks for filming..! but holding the camera straight, and not moving it would be less distracting (and the sighing and loud breathing) 🙄 ... thank you 😉
Loved the way the last question was answered. It’s like family values don’t necessarily mean Christian values. And every show that was a story line of a person of a diff religion I guess the asker either they blanked out watching it or simply turned the channel.. but convince a Christian it’s not a Christian show.. it had to pander because that’s how the mind seems to work here in the US . How do I know this ... I’m Jewish so I have a front row seat
I'm a girl, and my family was there that day I think. Let me check. Edit: YUP! And it's at 1:00:01 as well for others to hear what I had to ask..and yes...That is my real voice..
I still love to watch re- runs of this show. I would have loved to seem Mary also. All characters was my favorite. I can't seem to remember where did Laura family move to after leaving walnut grove, I would buy all of the seasons on dvd., Where can I find every episode of little house on the prairie .
