I so enjoyed this! And I am too all about my pip decks and I could never choose only one! 3 is my minimum for the 'favourite pip deck' question! Thank you for this great video! ❤❤❤
Thank you for playing along with us, this was a pleasure to watch. Loved how you answered prompt 4! Lollllll'd when you first pulled out the deck for prompt 13 -- "I come in peace." Hehe.
Thank you for sharing, it's so interesting to see people's choices. I don't own a Thoth pretty much for the reasons you describe. I had a friend a while back who had a very old Thoth deck and it's always given me the heebie jeebies -- and way before I'd read about Crowley. I find the deck aggressive in an unsettling way. I also own a Hudes -- it was one of my first decks. I love it.
Hi K! 🌸 I always loveeee to watch your videos. Thanks a bunch for sharing this fun tag with us! ❤ Plus, I love hearing your voice. It's sooo soothing and therapeutic at the same time. Sending hugs & love your way! With Love & Light, Redsyleen of Malaysia 🇲🇾
Omg I’ve never seen the black version of Arcana Playing cards. Whew! It’s so beautiful 😍. I have the white one and I don’t often get doubles of decks when I have a mini but if they released it I a large I would def get it! Agreed!
great video, I don't use playing cards but the Arcana playing cards are gorgeous. I also really wanted to get the most current edition of the Jonana Jaus Tarot because of the color but I do have the same edition as you. It's sold out now (I only know this because I went back and looked at it the day before yesterday) 😂
Yay!! Way Home Tarot for the win! I think Way Home is my cold dead hands deck, as well!!!! And I don’t think many folks would pick this one. Happy to share that love with you, K.
Thank you for sharing! I always enjoy your take on tarot stuff. I live in the UK but my daughter lives in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina and when I visit her next I'll be hot footing it over to Everyday Magic and getting myself the Way Home tarot. I have Bakara Wintner's book WTF is Tarot and I really love it.
I so know what you mean about allergies. Last night we went out for our anniversary of 37 yrs, we had a beautiful dinner then an hour after I was home I had a bad allergy reaction to something wanted to itch my eyes out, my nose running, coughing and lost my voice. Had to take several Benadryl they go to bed did not sleep well. I hope you feel better soon!
Great list and I feel like there are multiple things I could gush about .. but your upstairs toddler thrills me with her little gallops at random points throughout the video 😅 💗 I will say though, your Marseille decks make me want to delve into that system!
Oh my wish-existed was a larger size of Cheimonette. Haha. I thought I was maybe an outlier. I totally agree on the fandom tarot decks. My closest to that is my Alice decks. Alice is dear to my heart as I often feel like Alice surrounded by totally insane people.
I totally agree with herbcrafters tarot. A beautiful beautiful deck but difficult to read with (for me at least) .. The deck at 28:00 is so beautiful. I’m so sad it’s out of print 😢
So funny that you also don't like Deviant Moon and haven't wanted to buy the Wild Unknown 😂 we're on the same brainwave there. But liked seeing your choices for some of these! Interesting too that you rehomed the Herbcrafter's Tarot. That's one I'm still debating how I'll use, but I can see already how it could be cumbersome to read with.
I've really enjoyed listening to your choices..the ancient Italian was my first deck and I have trimmed and edged mine 🤭 now I must ask ...do you have a video or recipe for your macha tea and eggnog 😍😍😍...lovely video 💚🙏
I actually used masala chai with the eggnog for this one. My favorite chai is the sticky chai from Prana. I just brew that up a bit strong and add the eggnog, which is just whole milk, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla extract gently heated just enough to cook the egg through, with a bit of pumpkin spice thrown in. I don't really have a set recipe, just throw in whatever I have and adjust to taste. 🙂
Since you love the Way Home Tarot I suggest you continue to avoid the Wild Unknown. They're minimalist in similar ways, but Wild Unknown lacks the intentional structural and elemental tie-ins that Way Home has. Kim Krans is a sensational artist, but her grasp of tarot concepts looks like a confused beginner to me.
Your perspective is very similar to my own. I also tend to not click with heavy animal energy tarot. Oracle is a whole different story there. The Wayhome has animals interspersed, and that works well for me. The Spacious Tarot is similar in that regard for me as well. I have a deep connection with that tarot. Thanks so much for watching. 💜
@@amidst_the_grey You are known for this deck. Every time I see this deck it reminds me of you. I find myself thinking about this deck so therefore I think of you to 😂
