Little tip - I always warm up the resin & hardener bottles for 5 minutes in a bowl of really hot water before mixing together. It goes on really well & so far, no air bubbles! xx

Great video ! Question about the alcohol - I had questioned about wiping down a canvas and/or wood with alcohol & letting it dry prior to using resin over the art piece. I did that to eliminate any possible oil from my fingers that may possibly be on the piece before i resin. I recall the reply was Don't do that. So now, I'm a bit confused since this video shows spraying the wet resin with the alcohol to eliminate bubbles. Thank you for any input - been a fan for a few years - your videos have helped me progress !🤩
wiping a painted canvas with alcohol is different than spritzing a light mist of alcohol on a resin mold to pop bubbles in the resin. I personally, never ever wipe down any of my canvases with anything

Help!!! When I resin my canvas, the resin doesn’t stay on the borders. I have tried different sizes, it does the same on all of them. Too bad because the rest looks just beautiful. I enjoyed your full tutorial on resin very much. So helpful, layering it with the 2 gloved hand 😊. True, we feel the thickened. Thank you so much for all your great work, so generous of you to share.

I’m already using the mat on my table. I didn’t need the sander for smoothing my coasters I used the washi tape. I don’t need the scraper for this project (it’s more for acrylic pouring use) I didn’t use the silicone measuring cups because I was mixing more resin that I needed as I was working on other projects simultaneously so my resin wouldn’t fit in those cups. I didn’t use the markers as it was a preference for me to leave the coasters as is and not adding anything else to them. Just because all that stuff is in the box doesn’t mean it all has to be used for this specific project. Hope this answers your question. 😉

Thanks Kanella, great tutorial! If you did have sharp edges at the top, would you just lightly sand them or do you also have to apply another layer of resin because the sanding scratches them?

Good tutorial! It's too bad there's so much time for drying in between steps. If it was all instantaneous, a RU-vid live could enable you to get instant feedback about whether to ad glitter or anything like that. The sampling of what is possible to do is really great though!!
While these coasters are beautiful, I really don't see their usefulness. I'm in Arizona and the glass sweats so much that the coaster would just be setting in a puddle of water.
