This is probably the best resource video I’ve ever seen. Straight to the point, small descriptions of each resource, humor sprinkled in…this is great. Thank you!
Wow, designers will find these resources to be true gold! It's incredible how they can free designers who in the past would have gone to great lengths to access them. The wealth of options for 3D assets and models is a game-changer for anyone working in 3D design. Thanks for sharing!
I can't believe Iam one of the first to see that extremely usefull and resourcefull video, THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT ADVICES AND SUPERB RU-vid CHANNEL !
I've asked a few questions on the adobe site about how to do some sort of strange, presumably impossible things in Ae (one of which a few people commented and said, "yeah, there's no way to do that") and EVERY.DANG.TIME. Dan Ebberts comes in and solves my problem and saves me time. I've learned so much just trying to break down his answers.
Love this "dad in the building" intro. It was funny! By the way, i like your videos for informativeness, visual attractiveness and,of course, humor. Keep it up!
Thank for this video Ben! But it had me thinking.. I know many of these resources, but it's hard to apply them in a real project professionally. What do you usually use for client projects? Do you rely on these free resources? It would be nice to have a collection of all the paid\pro resources in a video (or in reply to this comment 😉)
Oooo I use Epidemic sound or Lickd for my music/sound fix, storyblocks for stock footage, most of the fonts I use are from pangram pangram. Plug-ins from all over the place (I’ve got videos on them) most everything else I try to make myself (designs, animation, textures, some music even) any specific types of paid resources you’re interested in?
Thanks for all the information! Do you buy the pangram fonts if you're using them for a client? Is there any deal should I be aware? It's a long time I'm considering to buy their font. Have you ever downloaded resources, textures, secondary illustrations for a background instead of making them yourself? If yes, what would you recommend? (even things like icons and the UI stuff)
1. Don't understand what the icons are for exactly? Lotti usage? 2. Wow, somebody, make some order to Zack Lovatt's insane library of scripts! So impressive, yet, it's a tad hard without a video reference to what the tool does. Bless you Zack (p.s- only "Key Sets" + "Key Stumbler" display their visual idea, and they look good)
Thanks for the shoutout!!! That cute ghost is actually mine lol 👻 and you can download him underpriced too :) and a free version, and a free tut on it :) Great video!! Shameless plug, My new Mind and Motion Workshop enrollment is now open haha
Thank you for the video! Would you make a davnci resolve Fusion tutorial? They recently added a multi-merge node (like a composite that allows for a layered structure)
Hi Ben, love this video. Have you heard of any free voiceover resources? I would love to create a few explainer pieces for my portfolio but I need some decent voiceover lines from good artists that I could “animate”… any ideas😢??
When I saw thou hit you with no obvious reason at the start of the video I thought: "What is it all about? Why do we need all this stuff.. computers, books, science, motion design, grace, beauty, words, meanings... why? When a guy makes a brutal violence just to make a fun..." Is decency not on a trend nowadays?
