I remember watching your videos 6 years ago. I found that I made lots of interesting art, but nothing I would want to hang and look at. I wasted so much money on paint and such, but I think I enjoyed watching you more than the mess I made and what I ended up using to hang. Hope you are well. Bought the paint-so much Dutch boy white, bought the little sticks and cups, made such paint messes! But it was fun after my mother died as a distraction.
This is one of the first pieces of fluid art that I watched on RU-vid. I keep coming back to it because it’s so beautiful. I also like all of the tricks you use, maybe without even realizing, to mould the piece into its final state. It’s such an inspiration for me as a beginner. I love this piece so much. Thank you for sharing.
Can't say enough about how beautiful this is❤❤❤ I haven't used silicone in a year or two but I'm going to have to go back to it and check this method out cuz it's awesome!!!❤❤😎😎✌🏻✌🏻
I like that you shared the true process of this piece. We are so accustomed to seeing only perfect (perfectly edited lol) moments on these technique videos. You trusted your inner need for color harmony and balance. Only a trues artist gets that! The video is FLAWLESS!!
This was the first pouring video I had ever watched and is where I jumped down the rabbit hole. It's been a year since I started to pour and am so grateful. Thank you for being such an inspiration!!
I LOVE THIS! Never feel like you have to defend your art. I am astounded at the critical and disturbingly negative comments on here. At least she is doing this and putting her heart out there! Thank you for sharing your tips and amazing talents !
I imagine this 7:58 as if God were painting the universe into existence. Absolutely beautiful as the piece goes through the stages. Also one suggestion if I may, I love the piece at 9:37. A Capture and print onto poster, canvas, or T-shirt media would be really cool.
i like that you really werent satisfied until u put out a nice product---i just started this a couple weeks ago and ive done 20 paintings so far, and each one is getting better and better.........
I got my 5 yr old grandson helping me to recreate this today. He thought it was magical and is completely hooked. I gave him a straw to blow and we got more spit than air 😂 but it turned out great. Thank you you have another convert. 👏🇮🇪
That is really lovely. I like all the negative space - and that you lightened up at the far end of the swipe. I'm going to have to try this in my favourite colours!
Am I the only one that sees a baby avocado in the middle?? HEHE, This came out AMAZING! I love the idea of pouring a neg. space! Great piece! TY for sharing!!
Woman you are a inspiration to me,Thanks for sharing your talent. This was great because you showed your can change what is done to something that suits yourself!! Artistic talent is something we all can do!
Honestly after literal months of watching every paint pour video I can find, THIS is my absolute favorite! When you torched it and said watch these cells, they exploded. It’s so satisfying to watch to me. Thank you for the inspiration!
I have been watching a lot of these videos with pouring,swiping,cells...! I’m glad that I have found a video that tells what paint that ur using... Thanks..
Finally, so many pour "artists" leave 0 negative space and it looks like something a child made by accident. Your art utilizes negative space, resulting in your art looking intentional.
Thank you for great videos! I have started gathering supplies to try this technique! Thank you for the inspiration. Watching other videos I have not seen them swipe off a section, and then add back to it… I will watch a few more of your videos before trying this! I am learning so much from you! Absolutely love the way this piece turned out! Love love the negative space!
Wow so cool how you made all those little bubbles pop out!! I just did my first video using acrylics and loved the "dirty pour", but am researching all these other methods and it is so interesting to see! :-) Maria
I appreciate that u just scraped away the part u didn't like. That's boss. And a think i think a lot of ppl are hesitant to do. Buts its a great tool in our artists toolkit.
After researchingMANY, Many videos to see different "Swipe" techniquesI found this one. It is by far the most gorgeous one I have seen. Thank you for sharing!
Well said! There’s always a critic in the house isn’t there. Why do people feel the need to criticise & tear down someone’s work.No two artworks are the same, like we humans...so everyone should admire & stop the negativity. Personally, this has become the problem with humanity since social media began. Have a brilliant day my friend💐
Ann I love the delicacy of your work and appreciate you sharing your expertise on a public medium... Please continue to please yourself, it is always 'your' art and none of us have a hope of pleasing everyone. I know how hard it is to nurture the sensitivity necessary for an artist and not be disheartened by criticism. but if Monet listened to critics who preferred Constable, where would he have been? To thine own self be true. You go girl! xx
Beautiful, unique and creative. You go girl! When you have the round dots, It's got like a surreal outer space vibe. Would look great on a black background too. Love it!
Wonderful swipe I was glad you took off the extra paint on the one side!!! You are so brave to do that. The final result was amazing. I would have liked to see it dry. :-) ;-)
This is fantastic I absolutely love it, the beauty and imagined movement and color flow of the art the paints and the way they integrate so beautifully together, the feel of the color and negative space are just perfect. Thank you for sharing your art with us !!!😄
WOW!!! I love this one! I am so glad you left the colors really bright and vivid. I was worried when you started changing the wider end of the paint, but totally agree with you that it's much prettier like it is now.
Hi ! This one is definitivly my favorite of all the Chanels I follow ! I always Come back to this vidéo !!! I LOVE IT ! I tried many times to make it but Sadly, I'll never had the same result... For me it THE ONE !😂 💞💞💞💞💞
You can use old syringes (I get mine from the vet) to put your paint down instead of using the little cups. That way you can control the paint better. Just an idea.
I loved it from beginning to end. Headed to the paint pouring (laundry) room to try and create something in the neighborhood of your awesome pour. I think it's sad so many mothers failed to instill "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" in their children. Undoubtedly will get some backlash but am soooo tired of so much negativity.😊
I feel the same way, I'm a perfectionist, and it's hard to just let it go and see what happens, so not an exact plan of how it will look... I love the creativity, and I'm intending on trying as well, promised my mom as a housewarming gift too!
Wow, Ann, you are such an inspiration! I absolutely love your work. I've been researching and watching videos for about two years, and every time I watch something you create, I am inspired to go into my little studio and create. Thank you!
About 15 minutes into the video, the painting was beautiful. Then, Ann couldn't resist playing around with it. Sticking fingers in it and adding more silicone white. I learned a long time ago, "When you are finished, leave it alone"......
This looks like a beautiful birth of a galaxy, or something swimming to safety. It certainly inspired me to subscribe. Your personality and commentary are most enjoyable as well. Blessings!
Wow! Its drop dead gorgeous! Masterfully handled. I love watching you manipulate your work after I think most people would think they were done. OK yes sometimes I am a little crazy as you do it - but certainly not this time. I've grown to trust that it just gets BETTER and you do know when to stop. Now if only I could learn that lesson.... lol
