yeah Franzbrötchen are a hit and miss sometimes. I wouldnt ever buy one at a touristy spot like that. the best are usually at bakerys. but even then there are some differences. Also they are best eaten warm. getting a Franzbrötchen in the morning fresh out the oven tastes like heaven
The Coffee roastary isn't famous for their Franzbrötchen. You should have gotten a waffle with hot red berry compote and vanilla ice. Also did you know that about 80 to 90% of coffee in europe is imported through Hamburg? Also first ASTRA then the "Altes Mädchen". I can't think of a bigger gap in beer quality.
It's a mediocre cinnamon roll, because it may be the saddest Franzbroetchen I have ever seen. You should get one at a real bakery, and get blown away. And, it's Pom mess mitt mahyo. OMG, you went to the Isemarkt. I went to school right around the corner at Gymnasium Eppendorf. We used to skip class occasionally to meander up and down. Sometimes we would catch one of our teachers doing the very same thing. Too funny. I loved that place.
One of the best things about going anywhere is the fun of improvising when not everything goes to plan. That's where the fun is 😎. Don't know about Hugh Grant though. Still more like Kris Marshall 😛😛😛
It's not a sub par cinnamon roll( Franzbrötchen). You've probably just tried one Franzbrötchen or 2! I have been to the States many times and had all sorts of American food!
Nice video. I found the video as the top result while searching for "Hamburg". I am flying from Hamburg to London on Friday and have 3 hours to kill so was trying to get some ideas of what to do. I will have to try and get tickets for the Elbphilharmonie (without paying for the time entry) and go to Brucke 10 for some fish. I have 2 girls similar age to your son and they would love that miniature land. I am going to have to come back another time with them. Good luck on your travels.
Hi Luke! I'm glad you found and enjoyed our video and that we could inform your trip to Hamburg. Really appreciate you watching. Let us know what you think of Brucke 10.
I just stumbled on your channel through the Night Train journey to Vienna. Love it! That weather is pretty normal for Hamburg. They call it Schietwetter (pronounced "sheet vedda") and is only a problem if you don't have the proper clothes on. I shall certainly follow you to Tblisi (if that's OK?)
I spent 3 weeks in Hamburg in Oct 2021. If the sun was out, it was the exception. My fight out was a cloudless day. ☹️ Also a windy city at times! I love Hamburg anyway!
I really have to go to miniature wunderland i will go to Hamburg for the fourth time next month and i will also do Treppenviertel and the casles arround Hamburg. Nice video thank you 🙂👍
I have been to Hamburg so many times because my mother in law is from there but I have never been to Miniatur Wunderland! It is now in my bucket list! Thank you for sharing all the infos. Hamburg is really beautiful northern city. Happy that Hays found back his langoustine toy! He seems to enjoy his journey very much!
I can see why people would write it off as just another cheesy tourist attraction but it was a delight! And actually quite amazing when you think about it.
I wonder about the impact of those images from sex house on the children. Its a pitty that he has grow up watching them. government should try to cover/blur those images.
Oh chill out. Kids don't sexualize these things, they don't even know what that means. Naked bodies are just bodies, and those buildings only had literal cartoons on them anyway. Not like he's being made to watch p*rn. Not everyone's an absolute prude and Germany certainly doesn't believe kids need to be protected from seeing naked bodies. We have whole beaches and other areas dedicated to walking about with no clothes on and there's nothing scandalous about it. Pretending like the simple drawing of a naked woman is something horrible is far more likely to have a negative impact on kids than just not making a fuss about it at all.
