Nice video. Love the way you edited it. I have a few comments though... The Convento do Carmo is in “Bairo Alto” which translates to “high town”. The “Baixa” or “Lower town” is the flat part at the bottom. Also I’m not surprised you didn’t like the codfish at Cafe Basileira... it is a coffee shop after all. You wouldn’t go to Starbucks and order Salmon would you? I love the coffee there, but in Portugal if you order a “coffee” you’ll get an espresso. You won’t find a large American style coffee at a traditional coffee shop like A Brasileira. I also agree with you that it’s kinda ridiculous that you pay a different price depending on where you sit or don’t sit, but that’s tradition and I’m glad that they keep to their old stubborn ways... it’s part of the charm. Glad you enjoyed everything else about your trip!

I went to Lisbon in February 2020 so can completely relate to this video. Did the same thing with the Santa Justa Lift went through the back alley way and didn't queue I knew you were going to do the same thing knowing you lol. The video featured so many important attractions but I would have added the Time out market for foodie fans and the national museum of azulejos for art lovers in the itinerary. I would have also added watching a fado show in Lisbon as a must for anyone that visits as the city is heaving with restaurants offering dinners with live fado. My favourite neighborhood was Alfama it was so atmospheric and authentic but for nightlife Bairro Alto was legendary. I hope to visit Porto soon I hope its as good as Lisbon.

Hi. Love your videos. You sure did a lot in 48hrs. Btw. The London Bridge was built in 1967, (the Tower in late 1800s, I believe) and the Goldent Gate was completed in 1937, as you mentioned. :)

Great food in Portugal, but avoid those touristic places like that restaurant where you had the bacalhau, even before you started eating, i could telll by the look of it, it was not good, but dont forget you should season that with olive oil etc... As people commented here there was so much you missed visiting, and probably best time to visit late spring early summer, to avoid big crowds in summer time.

The Santa Justa elevator is the biggest and most annoying tourist trap in Lisbon. Just walk up and you'll spare yourself a lot of time and money and, above all, the realization that you've been duped into another tourist money making scheme.

There’s so many things you didn’t visit... like many museums, the Lisbon Aquarium and great Lisbon attractions in Sintra and Cascais (Cascais is a must only during the summer)... so I can’t get how you can think 3 days is enough, to do the main attractions in Lisbon region in the summer you’d need at least 5 days in a very rush time or 7 days doing everything in a comfortable time and going to Central Lisbon, Belem, Alfama, Lisbon’s 3 best museums, Cascais and 3 castles in Sintra.

Thanks for your feedback! I did feel going at the pace I was, wizzing through, with an extra day I could probably have achieved that! Of course Sintra is a separate day trip and wouldn't be inclusive, but given I had an extra day, I would probably have chosen to spend it there. I wanted to spend as much time as possible outside as the weather was pleasant, hence not really going to museums, but when I return I shall definitely bare this in mind! Thanks again
