The Mutter Museum is the finest example of medical history on display. If you aren’t easily grossed out, you can see Albert Einstein’s brain, a 40-lb colon, and actual pressured human faces. Elfreth’s alley is 300 years of history all in one street. This street actually wasn’t included in the original plans for the city but was instead created as a cart path for merchants to travel as Philly began to grow.
