Also heard these were called the “Wattmaster” according to another NIB one. Mine is a month older than yours and what is interesting is that the reverse switch in mine is different. Its a side to side rocker type switch. Another thing that is interesting is that despite being J hook fans that screw in, they reverse! Great find!
my brown one also has the rocker style reverse switch, seems to me like the later ones had the rocker switch as it was also used on the later reversible Bananafans
Mine is in the original house of my Aunt and Uncles that was built in 1981, it too is on a solid state control, but surprisingly there is virtually no hum. They are planning on updating the house a little bit before they sell it one day. I asked if I could have the fan and control if they do reno or before they sell the house one day in the future, they said my name is on it.
