48 to 56 Crank Replacement Comparison 

Thanks Dale! The stock cassettes are usually 7 speeds from 14 to 28 tooth. The 7 speed upgrade 11 to 36 tooth not only pedals faster but also provides much lower '1st gear' for pedaling a dead ebike... Now, for ghost, or what I call air pedaling, I run out of the desire to pedal at all past 16 or 18 mph with std 48T crank sprocket and 14 tooth rear high gear. but note... 48C/14S=3.43 Wrpm/Crpm - 48C/11S=4.34Wrpm/Crpm - 56C/14S=4.0 Wrpm/Crpm.... But, 56C/11S=5.09Wrpm/Crpm Where C is Crank teeth. S is spindle teeth. W is wheel... So spindle change is faster than just crank change! But, changing both is fastest
