This was a recent trip mid January 2024 to Old Mill Lakes when I actually fished on Alder for the first time ever and I must admit i wasn't disappointed as the facilities were very luxurious indeed plus the fish stock within the lake are also something else. I fished for 48hrs with a very good friend and conditions were far from ideal as each night we had severe frosts but I did manage to catch 1 fish which was a truly magnificent creature weighing in at 24lb 12oz, This video contains some great footage from around the fishery and inside the lodge plus at the end of the video I do cover lake costs which are up to date at the time of filming (12/1/24).
