Sick of him, plus what he said about only cares what he gets and not what is good for the 49ers. The only way to keep a team this good is keeping some money for other players. This is the 49ers team not the BA team.
This is nothng. Deebo asked for a trade, remember that, and still stayed with the Niners. Bosa missed all of training camp and signed literally days before the start of the season. This is a non-issue
Media pushing the wrong story, and being repetitive and untruthful. What they should be discussing is Jefferson. Ceedee, Aiyuk and every other WR contract is hostage to that. NFL contract pricing happens top down so if every other team treats Jefferson as an outlier it will be; what the 49ers and cowboys do is the real (new) market. You can't blame aiyuk for wanting to get what he can, while he can. But the 49ers should hold the line because, otherwise, we are gonna lose a good player and diminish chances of a ring. The main thing now is getting Aiyuk to camp and feeling normal and ready to produce this year. Cuz if he don't sign now at pre Jefferson money he plays at 5th year money. All the noise about other teams trading for him is pundits creating content from nothing and boring.
Appreciate you keeping us grounded in reality. This is the stuff that makes social media suck! Takes the class out of the game. Think I’ll ignore this until a decision is made.
*Brandon gets offered 26 mil* "They don't want me" *Shows up with commanders QB* "But Purdys a cool guy" *Asked about next year's and future cap* "Only care about me, if you can't buy a Lambo you can't own it"
He is a young man full of talent & immaturity these kids generally don't have a clue as a life long sports fan. I hate it when millionaires fight with billionaires over money. I especially hate hate hate it over a kids game.
@@SYLin-rs8ob nope I turned down a job back in 2000 making $28 per hour to live in a smaller town for $11 doing the same job. I don't regret it one ounce. If your doing what you like money does not matter The fact is most of these kids are flat broke at age 40.
He is not Jerry Rice. He can be replaced. Never get attached to players anymore. NE did it right how many times did they just cycle guys in and out. They never caved to players.
David, i think the more solid comment from ba with regards to purdy is at min 20 of the pivot interview. Ba did state that he is in the right situation with the right qb. It was a legit compliment to purdy. But i really dont think ba heard the older player in that stay out of the media while in the negotiations...ba hurts his brand more than benefiting it with being the media. Just like last season offseason...so annoying, im done with all this. I didnt know everything ba said in the interview but now that ive watched the whole pivot interview im not against the kid but im also not a fan of the me first approach. Ryan clark talked about his perspective of being a udfa and any money he got was amazing. Even if ur drafted rnd 1 i think players need to be more in awe of the money they're getting. Ba will be on the niners next season for sure. Then, he might have to deal with a tag or two. Go niners!
brandon going to be greedy?if he wants to stay with the place that brought him success then stay with the niners. sometimes you have to give a little if you want the best for yourself.thanks David.
2:45 I think it does mean Aiyuk was willing to sign earlier - that's what "close" means. The two sides' positions were almost aligned, so a little more movement from one side or the other probably means you have an agreement. If the Niners had upped their offer back 2 months ago (like offering that $26 million APY then instead of only a couple weeks ago, or offering something like that $25.7 million APY double-bonus contract from the article), I think there's a very good chance Aiyuk would have taken it. I think Aiyuk's statements make it clear he was willing to sign a deal before the other receivers starting signing theirs, but the Niners didn't go quite as high as he wanted in order to do that. So now, because the Niners weren't willing to sweeten their offer a little more 2 months ago, they're probably going to end up paying even more than that to get the deal done after these other contracts happened.
Brandon Aiyuk in my opinion should make at least as much as Waddle at $28+ million and up to what St. Brown earns $30+ million. It seems to me the $29 million dollar range seems like the sweet spot.
It appears that we have these pampered players fighting for their bag every season. It is getting tiring. Last year it was Bosa now Aiyuk. He will be getting $700,000 a game under current contract. What a joke. Greed regains supreme. I would not mind if he is let go under the right price. I follow the team not one particular player. So, get him out.
You just don't understand the business part that is why you feel like that! Until then, you will continue to bash players but never understand how much this multi billion dollar business has grown because of the players! It sucks for us fans because we never leave! We are loyal to the SF Logo, just how it is
My statement stands. I know that there is a budget and all teams must meet the salary cap. Their is a point where paying too much for a player hurts the team. And that means not signing other players that could help the team get to the Super Bowl. Will be glad when preseason starts so we can put this bad boy to rest.
Nobody knows anything except the Niners, Aiyuk and his agent, let it play out... this is turning into click bait titles because it is a slow time of the year for football.
@@DavidLombardi Yes, but let's be totally honest here... we don't know what is going on behind closed doors. You can speculate all you want. Just getting tired of everyone trying to predict the outcome of this, it is a private negotiation. BTW, I really enjoy your channel so don't take it personal 🙂 Go niners!
@@DavidLombardi that he was under contract, 5th year option, franchise tag, and Niners don’t have to cave to market demands. From ur tweets BA makes it clear that niners prolonged negotiations is costing them more and more by the second
@@Sonleon925 well with 5th year option and double franchise tag they'll get their value and BA can get his bag in free agency. Unless someone offers what the niners want he is going exactly nowhere
theathletic.com/4824149/2023/09/10/nick-bosa-49ers-contact-salary-cap/?source=emp_shared_article How the 49ers paid Nick Bosa huge money - all while surging to No. 1 in cap space
BA is not slow he's learning from the best and that takes close attention if one wants to accomplish perfection/or as close as one can get... negotiations are a very tricky, delicate if not plain pain in the arse if one's not aware of what's going on and how to get to an acceptable agreement on both sides... David, excellent report... I'm good with the game of negotiating a deal. (Aiyuk, appears to be having a good time as well in the negotiations, a learning curve for certain;*)
