Need to give some credit to our great GM John Lynch. They built up the team the right way. Didn't hit on all the picks but hit on enough and signed/traded for the right key FA pieces that would blend in with the team chemistry and not just looking for the biggest name available. Definitely a major upgrade to the cockroach that is Trent Baalke.

@@S4_9er ... agree 100%. I should also mention all of our staff & scouts too (whether Kyle agrees with them or not). I didn't purposely intend to leave anyone out but, Kyle is the Captain of this ship. That said... I love Lynch. He's an awesome GM. Just never mention Baalke again. His only good picks were Smith, Vernon + A.A & DeFo (generally speaking). God's I hated him Baalke. Even if he picked a good player, they had no "team chemistry." I could go on & on but, what pissed me off the most, was what he did to Jim Harbaugh. Like Jim or not (lord knows he had his faults) but, it was Jim who built the team. Baalke sabotaged him at every turn. I'm sure you know, but just in case: the DeBartolo had to have a intervention, less Jed lose the team. They also demanded Baalke's firing. York does what a good owner does now... shut up & sign the checks. Leave the running of the ship to Kyle & John

Tomsula > Kelly (Can't really blame the guy he was dealt a bad hand & did the most with what he could but we all knew going into that season he didn't have the right players for his type of system. He was Baalke's last min. desperation attempt to save his job.) I did read something about Denise York stepping in during the hiring process of Lynch and Shanahan thank god!

Fans always say this is the best team since the Harbaugh 49ers, but the drafting in those years was bad and contributed to the flaming trash heap that was 2015-2018...these 49ers are building a team that by season’s end could only (I hope) be compared to the 1980s and 1990s elite squads! #NinerFaithful
