Receivers are way overvalued. KC did ok even after dealing Hill who is arguably the biggest offensive game changer in the league. If they can afford him, great! I would really love to see BA come back and join us in this superbowl run. If he could just structure a contract that is backloaded, or even just sacrifice a little bit of that FU money off the top in order to have a team full of dynamic weapons and be part of something special, he could get himself and the Bay Area a ring or two. @@macknosauce4994 Claypool didn’t want to spend a lot of years on a team that wasn’t going anywhere. Players don’t do that anymore. They want out! Claypool can play. He’s strong, physical and fast. Niners need to send Aiyuk to Buffalo on a straight up player for player trade. Aiyuk is through as a Niner. Bad wiring in his head, coupled with being under influence of some suspected hood rat woman who put a battery 🔋 in his back. Claypool isn’t a diva. Dude had 2 good seasons out of 4 so far. I recall him sitting on the bench quite a bit and needing to practice more and stay focused so I'm sure the 49ers are a bit leery. He needs a reality check and should show some loyalty to the team that drafted him and coached him up. If he was a true top receiver, he would have showed up from day one like most of the top guys. Ill preface the post by saying i love what BA has done over the last few years, but...We know he declined the offer and it was guaranteed money at 26mil range. We know Tyreek Hill only gets 25mil per and he hasn't put up those numbers yet let alone Jefferson money /speed /yards/records for his first 3 years. Nothing to do but hope they come to terms (and his girlfriend keeps her mouth opinions out of his business publicly, talk she wants behind closed doors!) because he isn't 30mil+ Jefferson money sorry. At 26mil i gotta think they are close or he has decided to move on by asking to much. Zero incentive to pay BA more while he is still under contract as well, they can pay him the 14 he gets now for this season then franchise tag him next and do Prudy's contract. If you say you want to stay with the team than show it. Can't think he wants to be the guy that caused the team a Superbowl in a year they can possibly win it?

The money that Aiyuk wants doesn't come out of the 49er owner's pockets. It comes out of the other players pockets in the locker room. That is why the diva role is hard to pull off. I think Aiyuk is making a big mistake. What was the number he was offered? $26 million? I don't think he fully understands how much money that is. He should have taken the deal and played football.

Rookie receivers are the way to go! F these divas. If BA is a $30m per year receiver his agent should have no problem getting more than one 1st round pick for him. Go get us your best offer from another team ( make it public ) and we will let you know if we want you back or think the team should take the deal and be done with this drama! I don't think any team is offering more than a 1st for BA or I think he'd be gone! It's time for NFL to suppress the receiver market like they did to RBs! Receivers are a dime a dozen in the draft these days!

Chase you're missing the ball. The 9ers aren't. I TOTALLY get what the 9ers position is. And it has nothing to do with all the fluff everyone is focused on... it's the substance. The deal Aiyuk has EARNED is to be forced to play on the 5th year option. That's what he has "earned" not the big contract. Brandon is a "member" of the 49ers... he is not "A" 49er. All pros work for money. But a 49er ALSO values the team not JUST money. 49ers = Juszczyk to a pay CUT, Kiddle, Warner etc all restructured contracts to help the team. Aiyuk is ALL about the $ and being the "big shot". He has no genuine "esprit de corps". HE IS NOT (A) 49er. He's a diva in waiting.
