@@jonnydel the live versions are the best. The edited versions are way worse. Take a poll with your members. But not just on a live chat. Allow viewers like me to respond via comments too. Thoroughly enjoyed this video. This one alone has me wanting to become a member. This is one of your best videos, and a very important one on a keystone game.
On that first pic to Kittle. I would love to see that ran again where Mason keeps running for a wide open wheel route. Also, on the 3rd and 1 on the goaline at end of first half where we ran it…Mason had a nice hole for a TD and just decided to cut it back into the defense.
Almost couldn't make it to the end, but glad that I did. You really help me see the field differently, glad I became a JFA member as I really value these videos.
Geez. It's tough to watch a video like this. I'm a huge fan of the niners and the channel but what a gut punch it is to be shown why your team sucked this bad. I feel like I just woke up in a haze with my pants around my ankles after a Diddy party
The most frustrating thing to me is that even though they were playing with all the backups at WR and RB this was a winnable game if they execute, the plays were there to be made. Brock had his worst game with the INTs and coming up short on the long passes to Kittle and Cowing, well placed balls and we are talking touchdowns. Winning this game was huge from psychological perspective, to get the monkey off their back and unfortunately they fell short once again. Great breakdown as always!
To win a super bowl in this league you need good players, good coaches, and good luck. We just run out of luck every year. Last year things started going our way then the football gods decided it was time for Greenlaw to snap his achilles in the freaking super bowl in a freak non contact injury. It seems this year injuries are rampant throughout the entire league, but jeez we are without our starting RB, our starting LB, now our starting WR, starting safety...
Appreciate the video, though I wish it was under better circumstances that I wanted to watch one of your videos. It's also sad that you're statistically underrated compared to other 49er content creators.
I mean, I'm pretty sure if a team wanted to know our plays, they could ask the players who've been in the system. Mike McDaniel joked a couple years ago that people could buy their playbook online. The playbook is 450 pages.
Great, honest breakdown. Just curious, but what do you think are the top 2-3 things they need to do to correct this mess especially having lost Aiyuk for the season?
This is good stuff and I agree with you. However, Purdy completely missed his check down on this play and he has done this far too much this season. His check down was wide open! The db had his hips turned towards Aiyuk and Collin’s and was 6 yards off the receiver.
Why does it seem like our guys never run through the defender vs man-to-man when they are 5 yards deep? A lot of the film you showed the defender was 5 yards deep, flat footed, and our WR's tried to run around them. If they run "through" the defender they could get illegal contact down field, right? Watching this just make it seem like our guys don't know how to run routes when in man coverage - defenders force them right where they want them to go. Just like all your other videos, a lot of this can be fixed, but the problem is, is we're not fixing them. :/ Great video (as always) - like the new direction.
The Chiefs did a good job of planting at 4-5 yards and initiating contact then, when it was legal. The Chiefs also got away with too much contact downfield
It sucks that we’ve lost our attention to detail like we’ve had in previous years. Maybe we can increase practice time during the weeks to make sure we are on out ps and qs
On that first dagger play you reviewed, the backside route seemed to beat his man and the safety seemed to be out of position. Is Brock supposed to get all the way through the reads and rip it to the backside route? It could have been a TD if he was able to see it.
So if Kittle had just ran his route wouldn't that have been a completion? I suppose it would have been a risky throw still given the layering, but is that one more on Kittle than Purdy?
Aiyuk: no training camp Deebo: Sick Pearsall: no training camp Jennings: Injured Kittle: Decent CMC: no training camp/injured Timing is all off across the board basically
Why do I feel like shanahans offense always has one option basically and everything else is always shutdown or not really viable. If the shut down the primary the play always is a dud. Not to mention if we’re running with Conley, Pearsall and cowing, can’t we run more friendly easy dump off plays? Look at reid’s offense. When the receivers go down he adjusts and not only that if mahomes is off he does little things to get him going. Shanahan seems persistent on running his way and his way only. His was isn’t working. His way loses the big games. His way doesn’t adjust to the pace of the game. It’s honestly infuriating.
Absolutely love Brock. But this was by far his worst game as a pro. Even the 4 ints last year in Ravens game there was a sensible reason for it. Tipped balls etc. This game Brock did not play confidently at all. Overall, he just doesn't look comfortable in pocket this year. Could almost guarantee it at this point that you will see a different qb when CMC returns. Top 3 wideouts missing this game I'll give Brock a pass. Just wish he could adjust better.
So on the first interception. I agree he shouldnt throw it blind, but we arent talking about a pick if Kittle runs the right route. Youre seeing the deeper we go into this game, Purdy is not feeling confident that guys will do what he expects which causes him to pause and not play with timing. He should "just move on to the next play" but hes not used to this level of disfunction. Hes a young QB dealing with an offense that is operating at a level hes not used to. Its easier said than done for him to move on to the next play
Good news is that Brock Purdy’s contract extension should now be cheaper! With all of Brock Purdy’s red zone turnovers this year, he’s starting to remind me of Jimmy Garappolo! Stop copying Jimmy Garappolo man, unless you want to be traded to the Raiders!
Brock in all of our losses miss reads off target throws under throws that should be tds scrambling when it’s not needed he looks like Jimmy G now Kyle be dialing it up but needs his qb to execute honestly I feel we should move Brock to a bench player and look for another option because if the limited qb isn’t going to have elite intangibles anymore then why play him
These videos show me that Jordan Mason is really not that good, from a technical standpoint. He’s a tough runner but it seems like he’s consistently reading wrong.
@@rudysal1429 it shouldn’t. And it doesn’t. If you watched this video and didn’t see an issue with the numerous mistakes on every play idk what to tell you. Shanahan has been fine. Players aren’t executing.
@nathangothan601 coach isn't fine if players are constantly making that many mistakes. That's a coaching issue. He needs to figure out how to hold players more accountable and perform better.
