Another great video! One thing I noticed too was how many times their linebackers were out of position and at times would try to avoid the blocker rather than standing their ground and taking him on. It looked reminiscent of our defense during the 3 game skid. Btw... I still don't trust Wilks.

To answer the question... yes.

Great analysis of the key offensive components of both teams. If we can keep their offense to 20-23 points I can see our O exploiting alot of the holes in their D you pointed out... for 30+. I predict something like 31-23 Niners!

I don't think either team's O-line can consistently win against the opposing D-line. Passing when these D have their ears pinned will be especially difficult. The interior of that Eagles D-line is as good as the Niners. So a lot is going to be riding on the run game. Early in the game, I think Kyle should pass on running downs to help set the run up. One thing you can see from the tape that Jonny didn't mention is that the Bills LBs are clearly not as good as Warner/Greenlaw, and I think our D will do much better than they did. That Bills O-line is better than ours though... Another thing is emotion and discipline. This is a game that can get out of hand on the field with the possibility of a laundry day extremely high. It will behoove the SF Defense (especially) to keep their cool and agitate and be physical without crossing the line. And please, no ejections. That Eagle secondary can be had as we can see from Jonny's tape. If CMC can have a day, then the receivers will feast. I also wonder if Brock will have more freedom from Kyle to scramble and make plays with his legs this weekend. Kyle seems to ignore the pass rush and many of his plays leaves the QB out to dry. I hate that about the Shanaplan as we burn through QBs that way. Purdy likes to hang in the pocket and make plays but I hope he puts his health first this weekend... Coz Kyle won't.

What are your thoughts on the ref and penalty situation? I don't have specific numbers but some games the Eagles have had 0 penalties, and the opponent has like 12. Is that due to the Eagles' insane discipline and they're not committing any penalties? Or is there another explanation?

Can they? Yes Will They? I'm not sure SF can overcome Shanahan outsmarting himself in big games. Also, Kyle hasn't shown any ability to come from behind late in the game. IF everything goes Kyle's way and the Niners jump out to a big early lead, they should win. If not, don't hold your breath.

I'm an eagles fan. And I'm not gonna talk smack. I think the niners have this game but the nfc championship the eagles will win I think.

I kind of laugh just a little when people say the Eagles are more clutch in close games or are more battle tested when they could easily have 3 losses if MVS doesnt drop an easy ball, Dak doesnt step out of bounds or the Bills receiver looks back on a 0. Not saying they arent those things based on those 3 things just laugh that people say they are based on those 3 games.

It going to rain...and fairly heavy, brock can't handle the ball in the rain, he struggled tons last year and this year with it. This alone is the nail in the 49ers coffin. Coming from a niners fan, brock needs to ball out to beat the eagles and i highly doubt he can do it in the rain.

You have to expect Eagles fans to make a scene, they are the least classy fan base ever. Did you see that vid of the kid walking up to a Bills fan offering him a high five then flipping him off? Absolutely low class to teach your kids that that is an appropriate way to interact with people. There's a reason their fan base is consistently voted the worst in sports.

Brock is a much better pure QB than Josh. Yes, Josh can run longer and throw longer, but he doesn't get some of the basics of the passing game right often enough. The Bills receivers were picking each other.
