I'm excited to watch these two young QBs find their stride. As Bears fan, the niners have a better roster 100% so I'm just hoping for a close game where both teams can be happy with their stars' progression.

With the touch football rules for QBs, todays QBs don’t have to have the perfect arm. Lamer Jackson is elite because of his feet. Trey will be really dangerous!

Trey is jay cutler with mobility you can see way to many times where he lit the ball hang in the air never catches anyone in stride

RR I saw a stat where in the Shanahan era in SF they've had 9 qb injuries and 3 qb surgeries. That's perhaps an over emphasis on run blocking and under emphasis on pass blocking

There is 0 pressure for trey lance because Jimmy never got us to a super bowl.. he was along for the ride.. that narrative that he just put the team on his back and wheeled us to the Super Bowl is comical..

Bro, 31 of the 49ers 39 wins under Kyle Shanahan have been with Jimmy. JG has a 70% winning percentage as a starter. Kyle without Jimmy has a 22% winning percentage. They were 1-10 in 2017 and Jimmy won 5 straight against some playoff teams that season. When Jimmy's been healthy they've been in the NFC championship or SB, when he wasn't (same team mind you) they've lost... a lot. You're absolutely entitled to your opinion, but the fact remains that Kyle is under 500 as the Niners head coach 39-42, and all but 8 of his wins have been with Jimmy. There have been 9 QB injuries and 3 QB surgeries in the Shanahan era here in the Bay Area. I don't care who is under center if they win, but to say JG didn't contribute doesn't match with pre/post Jimmy stats at all.
