Look at the "great" Motivational Speaker and Guru Tony Robbins' score for Miss Universe India and Miss Universe Canada and other contestants? Was Tony Robbins scoring body parts instead of the contestants fitness, poise and ability to walk in the swimsuit round? Watch the whole video and note the scores Tony Robbins gave to all the women. Andre Leon Talley recognized the runway and ramp modeling finesse that Miss Universe India Lara had. Many people forget that Lara Dutta of India had won the global MegaModel contest (for modeling and runway excellence) a few years before she participated in Miss India 2000 and she was a ramp and fashion supermodel. Lara won Miss India Universe in 2000 beating Priyanka Chopra-Jonas (Miss India 2000 Runner up - who went on to win Miss World 2000!) and Diya Mirza (Miss India 2nd Runner up - who went on to win Miss Asia Pacific 2000!). That set her apart from Venezuela and all other girls that year - Lara is beauty, brains, flair, poise, elegance, intelligence and wit - all combined in a stunning personality. No offense to all the other contestants, but Lara was the one that all contestants knew they had to beat in order to win the crown. (a similar example would be Aishwarya Rai Miss India 1994 Runner Up - who was the hot favorite to win Miss World 1994 even before she reached the venue!) When I watched the Miss India 2000 contest live, I knew Lara would win (before the 3-way tie and even after the Tiebreaker Q&A Round). And when I saw the Miss Universe 2000 live from Cyprus, I knew she would become Miss Universe 2000.
