This airframe arrived to Hungary in 1999, and she started to operate as a private helicopter. Nowadays she can be found in Budaörs Airfield (LHBS).
The Bell 206 Jet Ranger is a small rotorcraft, which was designed and originally produced by Bell Helicopter Textron Canada Ltd. In the mid' 1960s the italian Agusta bought the license and started to produce AB206 after the european version got the type certificate in 1967.
The Jet Ranger is a two bladed, five seated light helicopter with one Allison M250-C18/-C20/B/J gas turbine. Despite, that the type is more than 50 years old, it is still often used for various tasks in the civil aviation all over the world, such as pax flights, law enforcement flights, aerial application, training, and countless other jobs.
The type is also used by the military in few states, as Bell OH-58 Kiowa, for support, observation and utility tasks.
It is a really reliable helicopter, easy to fly, easy to maintain, a really great workhorse.
