Honestly, with that fascist cheeto destroying America, I so agree. Only thing I see problematic with this videos is the lack of diversity in Japan, really messed up. #resist
Check out global TV's Nightwalk from the 80/early 90's.....I'd be up late on weekends as a kid watching that after I was done playing some video games before bed on the weekends. That and maybe fashion TV on City TV.....lol
people are saying they must be smart and kind, but I feel comfortable with a bit of mess. it shows a sense of freedom when you have graffiti and rubbish on the ground. having everything spotless and clean just looks alienating and fake. there must be people cleaning it very frequently. I think I'd rather the cleaners do it maybe once a month and just relax with life. that's the Australian way of living, to not take anything too seriously and to enjoy yourself. there's an advantage to a less constricted culture. really it's freakish how perfect the whole environments look. the paint on the markings of the road are (almost all) perfect. the signs are all pristine. floors look like that have just been cleaned. it makes me feel uncomfortable, like if you sneeze you're a disgrace for acting disorderly. whole place looks like a neatly drawn anime with no details in the textures. In Australia you're free to just hang out and be yourself, all cultures and races. the law enforcement will smile at you and if you're in need any passers by will help you out. I think the cleanliness and how orderly it is in this video is unwelcoming. also notice the lack of seats. God forbid you want to give your legs a break for a minute while you check your phone or go through your bags. I think it's wrong to critique another's culture, but the purpose of my comment is just to respond to the adoring comments inferring this environment is somehow admirable.
When I visited Tokyo I was amazed at how clean the streets were. Very hard to find any trash or papers on the sidewalks or street. You're expected to carry your trash home if you can't find a garbage can.
@No Name that wasnt OP. It was their ancestors. Take a chill pill. If someone blamed me for crap the Vikings did (Norwegian, mom) or the native Americans (Cherokee, dad), I'd most likely laugh about it before replying with this: ancestors. People who are long dead.
I stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago and have quite a few of your videos since then and I just want to say thank you so much for making them. Your videos are incredible windows into Japan. Thank you so much for spending part of your free time taking us on these walks with you. Just really lovely work.
Its becoming a daily habit for me to put on one of your videos before bed and watch about 20 minutes (with occasional skipping to times in the comments) before falling asleep and these are so nice
Thank you for your videos. I've been sick and housebound. The videos give me a sense of being outdoors again, and make me feel much better. I appreciate your hard work and the beauty your videos incorporate. Be safe out there.
I would absolutely love to go to this city. Its so clean and for such a large , busy place there is a peacefulness about it. The shops look amazing. Watching this video I can almost feel the sun on my face and smell the food cooking as you walk by the many delicious menus outside of the restaurants. Thank you for such a lovely and informative video. I will have to start saving as I must visit this beautiful city.👍🏻❤️
Watching your videos is now one of my favorite pastimes! Thank you as always for the beautiful quality footage! It helps me enjoy the beauty of Japan when I am not able to visit in person.
Thank you, I love watching these videos when i'm on the treadmill, feels like i'm actually jogging or walking around a city I cant afford to travel to in person right now.
Kamata Station has a bicycle parking lot and I think the monthly charge is ¥3,000, with the daily being ¥150. 28:52 - I bought a fry pan from that Don Quijote 34:59 - Nikku no Hanamasa, nice place to find bargains on meat and other items. 39:36 - To the left, I spent many hours at the Hub British Pub. Cheap drinks and they have several locations. 44:50 - Keshiphoto - I think this place started as a camera shop and then morphed into a small food shop concentrating on imported items for example: pasta, sauces, canned beans, spices, peanut butter and so on. This place was on my regular shopping rotation. Thanks for the video!
Dear Rambalac: I am a fascinated follower of your channel that makes people who for reasons of work or study or problems of health and live locked in four walls we could go for a walk with your beautiful channel, and our eyes are your beautiful camera that you take with mastery and she faithfully play each section of beautiful Japan which seems that you are also in love of beautiful Japan ... :-)) Thousand thanks for sharing with us so much Beauty day by day !!!
I'd visit Japan for the simple fact it is so damn clean. The Japanese have their heads on straight. We could learn from that. On a second note, i can't believe i just watched 75 minutes of a person walking around.
This country, and its cities like this city, I love it, I feel so relaxed, also with the traveling singers, that part was very reflexive for me, thanks Rambalac, and thanks Japan, for letting us know, that there are still harmonious places in the world to know.
I can't believe how quiet it is. That's so rare to walk long stretches in a populated city and hear minimal noise. It's like even the automobiles themselves are considerate. I tried to see if it's some recording phenomenon, but you can notice almost all the passers-by are not talking themselves, just walking to their destination in somber quiet. Clean, orderly.. I don't think you can achieve this except through a distinct, deep-seated cultural system that emphasizes these qualities. You just gained a subscriber. Thank you for exceptional quality and the therapeutic ability to vicariously experience these astounding places.
The resolution and quality of the video footage is just about right, perfect. Also the choice of your walks are casual but engagingly interesting, this is a side of Tokyo I guess alot of tourists dont goto see so often, thanks for the hard work, good job!
I like to play videos like these in a small corner of my screen while I do my work (with some Ghibli music in the background). It makes me feel like I'm not stuck in a room behind a computer. Thank you for uploading!
Wow, this is an amazing coincidence... I am staying in Kamata right now! I was actually walking some of the same streets the past few days. And on my birthday too :) Thanks for making these videos. It's been a great way to prepare for my visit to Tokyo. I'm not going to watch this one right now, I am going to go outside and see the same thing in 3D :)
Hey how do you book a flight like do u book to and fro from ur country to Japan and then come back in the same flight or to go to Japan then when u want to come back again book a flight from Japan to ur country? Like how!!???
I love this so much! Thank you for this. I have always wanted to go and I will probably never be able to afford to go and this makes me feel like I am there and getting to tour.
Husband introduced me to tour channel. I absolutely love them. Love the walking videos...I watch them before bed. Japan is so amazing. I really need to visit!!
like your channel so much! Watched almost every one of your videos without skipping while learning Japanese language, please keep up the good work and update more frequently! Thank you so much.
I would like to render my sincere thanks to you, sir. I am a Japanese but I seldom have time to walk around my beautiful country. Your videos are indeed a kind of therapy for my mind.
Thank you so much for doing this! It's like a window into another world! I really hope that I can go there someday soon. Also I love those birds that went into the building LOL! thank you again!!
Haven't understood a single word of what they were singing there when you approached, but sound of it was really pleasant, at least to a point when frontman went high pitch voice :P Overall I am sort of addicted to those strolls of yours. Instead of playing games or doing whatever I'm watching some dude walking Tokyo. I'm worried :P I admire the fact you managed to make those videos not about you, but this impression of walking here and there. Many ppl tend to eventually focus on themselves or can't stop talking through entire video. Your manner attracts me the most.
I'm sure the people of Japan are extremely proud of their country. It's so clean and the people are well educated. They set an example to every country.
Thanks for your videos are very useful. Also this year I go back to Japan and I will go to see the neighborhoods of Tokyo following your videos. Greetings from Turin Italy. hi Luca
This is my new favorite channel i want to go to japan one day and you make me wanna go even more everything is so precise and pretty it actually looks like an anime lol
I used to like exploring places I can't visit in google street view, but it often bothered me that nothing moves. This is different, everything is alive, there are sounds and pedestrians sometimes take a glance at you, which makes it feel like the viewer is really present. I like it.
This is a very beautiful, clean and modern city. Many cities can learn from Tokyo. My hometown is a friend of Tokyo. So come on. Your gimbal is great. I think to make videos like yours in my hometown Berlin. I really like your videos but I don't have a such great Gimbal and camera. I've only have an Nokia 7+
Laying down in front of a 4k tv with a gf, a kitty, a pet bunny and all of them asleep while i drink beer and quietly watch this in peace. just the right content for this moment! 👍
I'm home now but we were in Japan the past 10 days while visiting my sister who studies in Japan, our hotel was in kamata and I really miss Japan and my sister
4:17 love the random Pikachu (^_^), 15:20 so many wires, you don't see them like that here at all. Also, see the vending machine drinks reminds me of when i was in the London Japan Centre last weekend (i uploaded a video of that today), they had quite a few different ones on sale there, i bought some bags of sweets instead though (including a pack of hi chew). Another fantastic video anyhow, i'm currently aiming to watch one of your videos each day. :)
They way you walk around exploring Tokyo reminds me of those video games where you walk around in either 1st person view or 3rd person view (the camera view is your face when you turn left or right and when you look up and down).
Bro I love your videos, man. I've been obsessing about Japan these past few months, and although I don't have enough money to go there, your videos give me the feel of actually being there and walking through the streets.
