I was surprised the other day watching a video, when he bought some kind of orange-looking drink. I think it was 'Old Streest of Kamakura'. If I remember correctly, he ate quite a few snacks that day too!
Everything in Japan seems to be of such high quality and made with genuine thoughtfulness. Not to mention how clean and tidy everywhere is. Japan puts most if not all other countries to shame.
I started watching your videos one year ago. I was bedridden and you were my feet, legs and eyes. Now, after hard work, I can go for a walk again and I dream of a trip to Japan! Thank you for taking me with you (piggyback) on your journeys all the time! Best wishes and greetings from Germany.
I went to a punk rock show on my last day in Tokyo in 2019. It's one of my favorite spots in the city. This video is just incredible. Some of your finest work. Thank you so much for bringing us along.
1:01:59 - wow! Great to see mount Fuji from Tokyo - and at night too! Also, the area at 1:07:07 is so unbelievably clean, neat and well lit, its like a movie set, or an internal showroom like in Ikea! :-O Finally at 1:27:38, that sad feeling when Ramb pays more attention to a wooden dog than the many real ones he encounters on his walks T____T incredible camera quality as always, Ramb
around :47, at the park, the light and hue is so perfect, blue of sky, green of foliage, the song of insects. your videowalks help me so much to flush all the horrific US news out of my eyes!! many thanks.
Started watching your videos over lock down. It got lonely after a while so I'd always play your videos and try and match the timing so it would be light/dark the same time in real life. It's cool to know life is going on outside :)
so clean and feel warm. It looks like I am seeing some small peaceful town. I wish Seoul looks like this instead of insanely expensive high-rise apartment that are robot-like.
いつも動画見て勉強させていただいてます。オシャレなお店も多いし下北沢周辺はいい街ですよね!次の動画も楽しみにしています! I'm always learning from your videos. There's a lot of fashionable stores and the Shimokitazawa area is a great town! I'm looking forward to the next video!
The shopping arcade at 1:07:10 looks so remarkably cute and cozy. The outdoor spaces of these major Japanese cities are so well designed! They seamlessly integrate residential, commercial, parks and transit. However . . . Praise, aside -- The way some of these roads mix pedestrian, bike and MOTOR traffic is INSANE. There's always a bad side to a good side, eh?
Love your videos, I always wanted to visit Japan. But now it gets harder and harder to do so. Your videos make it a bit like I've been there, and I get a bit of the Jpan vibes. :) Thank you for sharing the experience!
Your videos are just perfect, i personaly enjoy traveling and seeing new things, but im broke, until the day i can walk those streets, your videos are the perfect escape route, thank you for giving me a goal :)
I very much liked how you stayed next to the cat as it sat there for a moment. the precious baby wasnt bothered by anyone walking or amazingly enough running by lol
I used to live near Gotokuji when I was on exchange, and the subway was just starting to get renewed. I'm so happy to "walk" around these streets 15 years later thanks to this video 💙
It's just so difficult to imagine what life would be like in a city this size. Coming from a small Midwestern town in the U.S. I couldn't imagine the feeling of anonymity (Which I love)
As covid19 all made us locked down at home, when traveling is not available, your videos are precious virtual trips for me to experience the feel that lost for so long. Thank you sir. And please stay safe.
And safer. I'd like to live in a place where you don't even have to lock your bike in public. A place where everyone takes responsibility for their environment. Unlike here where it's a me first attitude.
Great video!! Also the area he was at, gave me a feeling that he was near to te stairs that appear on the "Your name" movie, I could be wrong, I've never been to Japan so I don't know exactly where they are, but that area sure gave me that Vibe.
I’m amazed at how well this upmixes to Dolby Atmos. That helicopter and those tree crickets or cicadas or whatever legitimately sound like they’re coming from above.
@@Skylda It's very tight. Looks like only a few inches between the car and the house. If I had to back into a spot that tight I'd end up with a scratched up car
Great video quality, full 4K HDR, expected from a 4000usd Sony. It would be great if you could walk by a few Olympic events and buildings, even if you can't get in to see. The Olympics ends on 8th August so plenty of time yet.
So cool! Back in the mid-1980s, I lived five minutes from Gotokuji station. Any chance you can do a walk around the area? Would love to see how the old neighbourhood looks . Thanks in advance.
