와씨 교과서로 볼때는 나무에 물소뿔에 소 힘줄을 어떻게 연성한다는거야 그랬는데 진짜였어...

제작과정부터가 아름답고 정교합니다. 우리는 활의 민족입니다. 저런 문화재 장인을 살려주는 겸해서 저는 꼭 사줘야 겠습니다.

옛날에 다큐찍던 기억이 새록새록 하네요. 우리나라 각궁은 민어 부레로 만드는 어교(아교라고 잘못 말했음)라고 하는 접착제로 만듭니다. 이 접착제가 열과 물에 약해서 비오는날 더운 날에는 활을 잘 쏘지 못했습니다. 활을 만드는 계절이 따로 있어서 찍기 어려운 영상인데 귀하네요 그나저나 알고리즘 무섭네

참으로 놀라운 선조들의 지혜! 또 그걸 지켜나가는 장인들! 감사합니다! 대한민국 만세! 🥰

한국 전투용 활이 실물이 남아있질 않아서 외국 활제작 업체가 재현해서 만들어서 팔리고 있다고 합니다. 국내에서 만드는 과정만 소개할 것이 아니라 해외에서 각궁을 찾는 사람들에게 판매 홍보까지 해서 구입할수 있게 하는것도 각궁이란걸 지키고 알리는데 중요하지 않나 생각합니다

카본제작하는 일을 하고있는데 각궁은 정말 우리 민족의 복합재 기술의 위대함을 보는 것 같습니다. 역시 우리민족은 복합재를 가장 잘다루는 민족이였어...

요즘 많은 외국인 분들이 한국 활에 관심을 가지고 있습니다. 해외 수출의 길도 늘어 날 듯 하고요. 한국 활의 많은 홍보와 마케팅이 필요할 듯 합니다. 영어 자막으로 자세한 한국 활 만들기 설명이 있으면 많은 외국인들이 놀랄 듯 하네요.

저. 활 제작법을 보니 조상님들이 얼마나 연구를 많이 했는지 알겠네요 현대의 무기제작법과 똑같습니다 오히려 실전성 좋게 저렇게 가벼우면서 그렇게 큰 힘을 저장하는걸 자연재료만 가지고 만들어낸게 보통 연구를 오래 한 게 아니네요 저 제작법이 나오기까지 50~100년을 연구한 것으로 보이네요 그나저나 다른건 그렇다 치더라도 소뿔이나 힘줄은 그나마 고안이 쉬웠겠지만 부레가 접착성이 좋다는건 어떻게 발견했는지 정말 신기하네요 제 생각에는 성능을 발현시키기 위해 재료의 선정에서부터 수백~수천가지 자연물질로 테스트해본게 틀림없습니다 정말로 당대에도 우수한 과학자들이 많았단 이야기죠

만드는 영상도 좋지만, 저렇게 정성들여 만들어진 활을 유지관리하는 법도 같이 올리면 좋겠어요.

Very interesting way of applying sinew to a bow. I've only heard of applying it in interlocking strips bit by bit directly on the bow. But smoothing it out to make a flattened strip of sinew and then removing and applying it on the bow is something I have not heard of It gives a beautifully clean look to it.
