i don't get it all the songs is for 1 person but when its for groups they just divided it into 5 ppl so its no diff 5 or 1 its the same

@@muichirotokitotokito6819 no, it's not the same. when there's a song that actually for 5 persons and then someone sing it alone, it become more intense for the solo singer. you can rewatch this video and look at the way she breathes, it's so short and she can't resting for a moment properly.

Any singer can sing any songs from group. If we’re talking only about SINGING. Remember, ITZY is also dancing in a hard choreo. I think all of them can sing this individually but dancing must not be included.

@@muichirotokitotokito6819 Naw, it's because when people make songs for soloists there is usually a lot more breathing room. Whereas if songs are made for groups there is less breathing room and (typically) even the verses are a lot harder to sing because the producers don't have to care about "breathing room" because the parts will be alternating to a different person. So it's actually a lot harder for 1 person to sing a song by a group even though the length of the song might be the same :)

It's not that hard to adapt, Oh My Girl's Seunghee sang Twice's Cheer Up by herself and Twice has 9 members. Ailee is still a great singer of course.

But I think what im trying to say is wannabe's lyrical arrangement are meant to be sang by 5 people, there's almost overlapping or no pauses in between members line, not to mention the tempo of how itzy sang it compared to twice's cheer up verse which I believe on half-time. Ailee on the other hand showed amazing technique to perform it well. She even included the "i wannabe me me me..." in between chorus lines. No hate here, just saying my opinion and I love twice too. ✌️

@@sibika3466 Check out my other comment on this video, I know she did well to sing all the parts by herself but as I mentioned there, I think it would have sounded better if they let her pre-record some parts and sing over them because of the overlapping. She had to cut off some parts because it's impossible to sing two different lines at the same time.

@Eugene C oh yeah of course she does have a good lung capacity 🤭 coz anyone else would totally tire out after singing like that. And her breath control helps with that. She is singing some parts of the verses longer before taking any breaths but it is done so skilfully we can hardly notice it.
