Rich muslim, just because youre ancestors set up tent in the right spot in the desert...... you dont deserve it, muslims are the downfall of this world
In the words of a very respected architect I've known "Symmetry is lazy" Balance - that's what made a Lange 1, Patek 5712, Cartier Crash, Chronometre Bleu, and a lot of Gilbert Albert pieces beautiful. There's a reason why Rolex made the Daytona lugs asymmetrical from 1988 to 2022 (although only the steel and full yellow gold during the 1165XX generation) it is all about balance with the crown guard and big screw down pushers. The last generation's Platinum, RG, WG were 'supercased' a bit to make the wear bigger by introducing a chunkier crown guard, symmetrical and slightly elongated lugs. Now this larger case is introduced reference wide with further refinements and fortunately it looks great and balanced on this black steel model you are reviewing, I can't say the same with the new Panda.
Going back and watching your 116500ln review.....this new reference definitely looks bigger on your wrist. You can't go wrong with either reference but my preference is the 116500 because of the bigger subdial rings and more sportier look of the all ceramic bezel.
How come you no longer show the macro dial 8:09 shots to see the dust or debris? That used to be a big part of your reviews and it holds the brand’s QC to account.
Your RU-vid TIMEPIECE ⌚️ videos 📺 are ONE OF THE BEST throughout all of the watch influencers 😊 Another amazing video! Thanks a million for your big efforts 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I just got the old 116500 black dial Daytona from my AD. Enjoy it a lot. The new reference is more elegant and is very similar to my black dial Zenith Daytona. Both are great!
Amazing videos as always. The steel rim on the bezel and narrow sub-dial indices are nice upgrades. Having said that, the case is completely different. It’s far more modern and arguably boxier and less elegant than the outgoing version (it’s GMT esque). Overall, I think the 116509 (WG versions of the prior watch) are the best as they incorporate many features of the new case including symmetrical lugs that curve down with feet.
@@steelsteez6118 Probably, and at what cost? You're comparing apples and cherries...and you're forgetting others. There are many more complicated/prestigious watches or from independent watchmakers. In the end, it remains that the Daytona is the most desired watch in the world, and if you have one on your wrist you understand why (which does not prevent you from having the others). Truly THE best. I have the chance to vary and to be able to affirm these different pleasures instead of coming out with nonsense, I wish you the same ;-)
So nice to see you back! Your videos are the best man. Best detail and analysis. Brilliant.... wish you did other brands like Omega, IWC more often, but I do get it. Rolex is very good (even though I dislike their price and availability... but that's fine. I'm happy with other brand like my IWC)
I don’t like that metal ring around the bezel.. same problem I had with my speedy 2021 sapphire sandwich I was so careful with it until one day I hit it and that was it for me
The size became larger and the thickness became thinner. 116500 Bezel diameter: 38.4mm Crystal: 29.9mm Lug to log: 46.5mm Case thickness: 12.5mm 126500 Bezel diameter: 38.7mm(+0.3) Crystal: 30.3mm(+0.4) Lug to log: 47.6mm(+1.1) Case thickness: 11.9mm(-0.6)
hmmm....bezel diameter might be almost the same, but case is now almost 40mm (39.9mm in other reviews said) and yes, it is thinner than previous model but a bit thicker than new AK (11.7mm)
The steel ring protects the ceramic. You forget ceramic is brittle and can be easily damaged from a knock on a door. I would rather the steel ring around it any day
When an Iconic legendary watch, needs to be fully analyzed and described to its core! Only 1 professional watch enthusiast, with extreme passion can bring it to the watch world! The one and only, Hafiz! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Hafiz!
When I want to know exact watch dimensions and weight your reviews don't disappoint. I wish other RU-vidrs would also take the time to take their own measurements instead of just relying on Rolex, who we know is well known for misrepresenting the size of their watches. Keep up the good work!!
I think the outgoing model had its quirks and that’s probably why it will become its own legend over time (if it hasn’t already). That being said, the new design is more elegant to me and representative of a more classy timepiece.
Pretty much the same. Nice oxymoron. It's quite different actually. Movement, dial, case, bezel are different. This difference is bigger than the difference from the steel bezel to the ceramic bezel which only had 2 differences: Bezel and dial.
@@PhilipWing Case: still 40mm; Movement: same power reserve, same average finishing; Dial: "OH MY GOD THE RING IS NOW THINNER" - big change, huh? Bezel: same markings, same color, same finish You can't be serious when you say the difference is bigger than the steel bezel and the ceramic bezel. Please. Are your parents cousins or something?
Instead of one million watches, Rolex are going to produce more than two million watches per year by building a new factory. All Rolex watches are all made by hand🤣. All the marketing of Rolex is a big scam, and people believe in it.🤣
this Daytona is the worst Daytona ever ! Proportions are really bad, the old one "116500" is really better, and Collector right now because this sh1t....
The design looks dated and seriously boring . Despite the sexy voice , i am still losing interest . I foresee a rolex crisis ahead but many are too blind to see it coming.
Keep holding your breath on the Rolex crisis lol if rolex has a crisis, the entire financial system will be in shambles. In that case, rolex watches will be of minimal concern.
Thank you for the nice review Hafiz! I think it’s good that they made the lugs symmetrical. You would think this watch would suit perfect for those with smaller wrists. But the lug to lug height ruined that, that’s a shame imho. Because you could as well just buy a 40 or 41mm watch.
