@@ZacTheFirst Removing the bobbing animation might sound simple but I guess it takes a lot of work to do so which could be why they just left it in. Not to mention it would need additional coding to add the bobbing back if one were to switch to the OG graphics in the middle of cutscenes.

It's not a mistake, they are just using the exact same meshes and animations.

They should have cooked a little longer on this at least change the animations

Those were present in the original, tell that to the folks from back in 1998, maybe they will fix it for you.

The gun "suddenly appears" because it's the old animation that was hidden by the original 4:3 aspect ratio. Now the game is in widescreen and you can see things on the sides of the screen you were never supposed to see.

I think they might be patching this out
