4k Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta -50th anniversary- 2022, opening day. World's Most photographed event! 

I went to the opening day of the spectacular 9 day Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. The world's largest hot air balloon festival and the most photographed event in the world! I got there before sunrise for the mass ascension as hundreds (I was told between 550-650) of hot air balloons fill the sky in bright colors. I came back for the evening balloon glow but it was canceled as the winds began to pick up. The massive event takes place at Balloon Fiesta Park’s 78-acre launch field - the equivalent of 54 football fields.
