I have one of these inlays and can confirm that they are very strong and last a very long time compared to regular fillings. If you chip your fillings often, this is the way to go.
@@asgard168 my inlay procedure was slightly different from the video. Mine was 3D printed at the dentist office the same day instead of having a lab create it, which can delay the procedure a few days. I had my inlay done about 10 years ago so don't exactly remember the cost. It may have been $200 to $300 USD on top of my insurance. Well worth it since it was on a tooth that kept on getting chipped fillings which would have cost $100 each time. My inlay is still in great condition, no chips or cracks.
TK. I live in the USA. I live in a rural area. Had to have tooth pulled Wednesday. Dentist still using huge glass syringes with three inch needles for novocaine. Idiot tried to break my jaw.
Dentists are amazing...man the patience they needed for the work extra...intact for evry medical field it is ... Hands off to evry medical professionals and the students studying to be one....❤️
This does not appear to have been filmed inside the mouth, however the teeth seem very real. Are they just very realistic models, or are they actual teeth removed from donor cadavers for educational purposes? Just curious.
@@DrAbdomFora Oh, of course! Sorry it slipped my mind for a minute that teeth are also routinely extracted from live people. Momentary loss of reason on my part. 😅
don't worry, patients continually have their teeth extracted either due to gum problems (excessive dental mobility), third molars, or due to orthodontic treatment (pre molars)
Doctor, brilliant job. Such precision. Truly amazing. A question- Because this is an extracted tooth, you are able to freely access all nooks and crannies and turn/ rotate when your need to. In a real life scenario, the tooth would be a lot more difficult to access. In that case, can the job be done with this amount of precision and finesse?
Im a current dentist student im still on my 1st year and its still on classroom and teeth examination, only during the 3rd year, students gets to finally use some tools
I really like the inlay part. It's so convenient although the patient needs to wait few days before implementing it. It's far easier and saving much energies and times for the dentist to save the teeth than hand-carving traditional method. Thank you for this educational video, I wish dental care in my country can practice like this widespread sooner and in the future.
Good inlay, but for a caries like this which was already at the pulp chamber you will not get a local but a block of your lower jaw (one sided), and a root chanel treatment first, but a good reatauration! And don't go for resin inlays, you can get a composite filling instead which has same quality of lifespan, but ceramics is top decision but gold is the best :)
Eu restaurei 4 dentes hoje.
Beautiful indirect restoration. Any concerns about the margin on the mesiobuccal cusp being so close to the point of occlusion? May result in marginal chipping, leakage and premature restoration failure.
Gente, canal nao doi.
I'm new to this channel and I'm just curious. Where are the other teeth? I know there are covers but how come only one is somehow at the very top and others are below it? Sorry, got confused.
Hello Excuse me sir I have a question about my Mouth I wanna remove my mouth and stomach bad smell for permanent is there any tablet or spray plz inform me... Plz inform me plz send but I wanna remove permanent this bad smell
I had this in Morocco at the best dentistry private clinic for 600 dh ( 60 euro ) I m glad dentistry in my country is not as expensive as in the usa or canada !
My one tooth is broken like that it’s filling broke and it pains at times. What are some solutions for it? I am mostly suggested to do root canal again or else take out the tooth and I really don’t want to do that
Congratulacions Doctor for your exelent videos. Well, you know Doctor, The "new", and the "modern" composits, not necessarily are the best in the patien's mouth. The composits : Have a low performase, with the years, they don't resist the years test. And that all the Dentist know it. But the Words "modern", and "new", and "esthetic", are good marketing words, But only that. When I Talk with my patiens ( I Have a Dental practice of 43 years), abouth the composits, I explain the good things of the composits, yes, But too, the defects and limitations. Good for you and your videos Doctor!.
The irony, I'm getting this done on Wednesday for a cracked filling. The inlay cost me $400 but to fill my other cavity is being filled the "old fashion" way will cost me $52.
@@E_Cleazy i was in Medellin Colombia and had 2 cleanings within the months out i was there for like $16.00 a session and $30.00 for each teeth whitening session. They also took out my wisdom tooth for like $60.00. Back home in the U.S. its ridiculous!...especially after losing dental insurance due to covid. Fk the U.S!
