I think they are very effective on a hillside or slopes with walkways meandering through among large trees and shrubs. It gives me ideas as well and when I prune I find it very hard to discard the residue, fortunately I still have a lot of space and spill over on to the roadside. They are so easy to propagate from off cuts and encourage friends to grow them. My favorites ones are the white and just adore the perpendicular varieties as well and the many variations in size shape and color. Of course I cannot compete on this scale obviously, life isn't long enough, but creation is part of the enjoyment. Most appreciated and God bless.
