Thank you for helping with my back to school anxiety. Starting college soon, super terrified but it will be ok :) update 5 months later: update for anyone interested: i'm doing really great! I love my school, it's really interesting and fun. Of course I did have and will continue to have some problems along the way but they are much smaller than i anticipated and worth it everytime. i'm surrounded by great people, and if i try and work on myself, everything's gonna be fine. good luck to all who feel/felt the same. I feel that. I personally have struggles with feeling excitement and overall staying happy, but it’s a fight that’s worth it. Graduating will be a huge relief too trust me! Find your niche that helps you open up, like fashion or a hobby or something relatable and try to find ppl that can relate to you! You got it 🤞🏼
Man, I just started Highschool on Tuesday, and I still barely know where I'm going, I've almost missed the bus twice, but get this, I've only been there for 2 days now. I'm waiting for my time with the grads, but for now imma wait. I may not be the best writer but if it made you happy, just know some 14yo highschooler told you this
For what it’s worth I’m proud of you!!! Feeling emotions is a difficult skill. A lot of people will just bury them deep and try to “manage”. You will absolutely learn what you’re feeling and why, and you’ll grow so much from it! Im still learning! 💜

Actually same 😀, I also sing a lot when I want to relax/let stress go, most of the times I do it unconsciously, and I've learned a lot of songs perfectly word by word doing it through the years 😆, both Italian and English ones 😎. I really appreciate how you talked about stress in this video, everything you said about it, your personal experience with it, how you deal with it/let it go, and especially all the little advices you gave us, stuff like this can be very helpful 😊. I also really enjoyed all the triggers of course 😌, the iconic asking for consent about touching the viewer's face at the beginning, the stress pulling with the camera sometimes focusing on your hand and staying on it while it was moving back, which I tought looked really cool, the sound of the scissors snipping, the little sponge, everything, thank you as always Gibi 😀.
Singing is my passion, it always has been so when I need to release strong emotion I find songs that match that emotion and sing them loud and proud. Helps me a lot. 🙃
When she asked how we were feeling, and said we didn’t have to say “good”. That was such a relief. It means so much to be able to answer that question honestly and for it to be ok to not be ok.
I feel like we should normalise answering that question honestly anyway, even if we still keep it brief. "I'm not feeling the best, but I'm getting by" It's OK to not be OK.

Singing is actually a very good way to get out of emotional dysregulation! Even just humming, moving your vocal cords helps re-center your amygdala and regulate your emotions😊 and thank you for recommending shaking it out, I have only recently realized it's ok to shake/tremble thanks to my therapist. You are doing amazing work Gibi, thank you for all that you do.

Thank you Gibi. No matter what situation I am in or how I am feeling, you always have a video to help me. I have Autism, ADHD and suspected Anxiety. I tend to catastrophasize everything and I always assume the worst in stressful or anxiety triggering situations. Also, because of the Autism and ADHD, I mask a lot subconsciously (for anyone who doesnt know, masking is the act of hiding one's traits of Autism, ADHD, etc. either consciously or unconsciously) and this can be extremely draining and stressful. Tonight I had a meltdown because I was stressed about my youtube channel (it's a small hobby that I dont rlly need to stress over too much, although a little but of stress does show that I care), troubles with friends (my ex-best friend threatened my friends and me) and just not feeling good enough. It was stopping me from sleeping and even now I'm watching this late at night, although this video is definitely helping me to feel more tired. I have trouble getting to sleep before midnight anyway, so the stress didnt help. Then I watched this and immediately felt calmer. Something about you snipping away at my stress and anxieties is just so nice and makes me feel so much better. Thanks Gibi.
