When I visited Japan for the first time, I stayed in Shinagawa area. This bring back so many memory especially the Shinagawa Station. Thank you for taking us along on this walk :)
More memories. My first job in Japan was at the Prince Hotel in Shinagawa which we see at 22:29, so I know this station and area very well. The tall windows near the top of the hotel is where I worked, which are the bars and restaurants, and those windows give you a 360o view of Tokyo, and you can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day. I think the only thing that is different is that it looks like they tore down the old 1920's hotel that was next to the shrine and put a new building in its place Every step you take I have taken. It's almost as if I told you how to go. Thanks again.
I remember you said you worked at Shinagawa Prince Hotel before and that inspired me to shoot this video. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you very much for watching! 😄
Thanks for your video! I went to Japan in 2019 and lived in prince hotel for several days. I could see the whole Shinagawa Station just from my room window. Everyday I try to find restruant around the station. That remind me lots of memories
Yoshi I remember being at Shinagawa station for the first time and falling in love with it. The walkway through the station and the surrounding area is a wonderful place to be.
@@lilosenju7796 Actually it's a place where people bring in pigs and cows to make meat. It's hard to believe that kind of place is located in the middle of Tokyo only 3-5 mins walk away from Shinagawa station!
@@VSV_Japan wow thats why it will not be opened for public n this is why i really like ur channel bcus u r so informative. theres like ton of hidden place in Tokyo we want to know n you here try to tell us about that. i hope this channel keeps getting bigger 🙏 thanks man
29:15 That Outback Steakhouse right there was the one a bunch of sailors from my command would meet after the ships would return from deployments. After dinner some would venture forth to Roppongi or Shibuya to party until dawn, others would hop back on the train for drinks and kareoke in the Honch.
Now I can't forget about the inner city dead-end 🙈 and 10:59 the light looks like a unicorn horn 🦄 15:55 sound in a distance reminds me of begin of Depeche Mode Somebody, idk whether it is my exhaustion or what else but to see the all normal gives me kind of an eerie atmosphere. Btw I noticed besides carriers only umbrella strollers but no actual prams. Aint that a thing in japan? The shadow on the wall at 26:48 looks almost rockabilly
