@@Tate525Not true. You cant generalise the entirety of males and females based on small radical groups within them. I know plenty of couples who truly love each other, love is real.
unfortunately thats not true. Even the "I Love You" at the end is basically coded into her to say what her owner wants to hear. U can understand that she wasnt special, she was just like other models, all the same, if you look at the "You look lonely, i can fix that" scene. The advertisement calls him a "Good Joe", the name our model gives him
People say "she is not real" and forget that the same logic applies to K, one just has body the other has emanator, but inside they're perfectly the same
No, K has realization of what he is and it was a moment of melancholy when he realized his memories were fake, he truly understands what it feels like to be fake, to be a product, to be empty without meaning. The abyss, the void that can never be filled
@@jadensparrow7663that's your interpretation. Saying something is real or not is nothing more than interpretation because no one will ever know ever know to feel something else not with your own senses.
No, K might have a body that she didn't, and otherwise both of them might be physically so alike. But he loved her. She meant something to him. He didn't, to her. She was just acting to give him the best feeling, she was just a simulation, her feelings towards him weren't real. It was clear when he saw her naked in front of the city, whereas it took them days to get to that point. And it was because he wanted it that way. When Joi playfully talked with K, calling him a good Joe, it's pretty clear that every other customer is Joe to her. He meant nothing to her.
What's amazing about this scene is that it's both an expression of real humanity (wanting to make your lover happy, wanting personal freedom, etc) and an expression of merciless commercial exploitation and manipulation. Is she happy because she is conscious and wants to be able to be with him, or is she "happy" because she's designed at a fundamental level to upsell him the expensive hardware and subscription service? Given that he's a replicant who's been conditioned to think of himself as a non-person, does it matter to him?
People say she's not real but outside of being bound by certain rules she's as real as any woman. Shes designed to truly love him like all the others are designed to truly love their companions, she learns his wants and needs and obviously has her own given the scene where she reacts to being unbound from that apartment and can go anywhere he does. I half expected somehow her consciousness to inhabit the one red head so she could become flesh and blood.
But the thing is theres nothing actually behind those eyes just a bunch of computers but with a real person theres a living being just like you that can feel
@@Jigbrowhat is a living being if not a bunch of lively computers made of organic chemicals? You and me are just bunch of atoms, chemicals, and the only thing making us "real" is us sentience without outer source
@@Jigbrowhat's behind the eyes of a human ? 😂 Enlighten us. Artificial intelligence will outcompete human intelligence. We're not as good as you think
Hadn't thought of it that way. So, an implanted desire of Joi for freedom could have been subtle marketing for the eminator. It's insidious yet very real in today's society.
I had this. Im telling you a fact - after being in nothing but hateful sex relationships (they all tried to play the game telling me i love you but they are with other guys so.... why not do thebsame? Thrn everyone finds out and you start all over) but a relationship with a real woman this was strange. I knew this was the real way relationships worked and i knew i had A TON of work to do on myself. In time i told her in a round about way. Hey, i love whats happening here, this is awesome but im realizing from this im super f up. So if i stumble a bit just hang in there. I wasnt able to show true love, i could shownfake and talk the talk but the realnstuff. I was fumbling and lost - every second was new, something i never experienced before. Even talked openly with her and it all was an absolutely amazing growing experience. She was a remarkable one in a billion woman. Way out of my league but somehow....she was so beautiful that you know you would fail but would forever kick yourself in the teeth for not asking, you know?
That's the great thing about the movie. It's all about "what makes us human" and joy demonstrates clearly that she's the most human character, even if she is 100% digital. Everyone else chases birth origin and such, to find it is all bs.
Esta película me encanta, me encanta tanto que, me dan ganas de ser aún mejor de lo que soy por y para mí, sin necesidad de lastimarme o lastimar a alguien más. Les deseo lo mejor, muchachos.
The injury near his right eye vanishes in the middle of the clip. I haven't watched the original movie. Is this a continuity error or is it something that was supposed to happen to move the plot forward?
this man had such perfect body, a well-paying job, and also the perfect girl; but he wasn't even close to happy because he didn't know who or what he truly is. that's why i like this show. or maybe it's just my concept
Guys... the point of the movie is: she. Is. Not. Real. Doesn't matter if you fucking want her or adore her or love her. She doesn't exist. Time to wake up to reality, even if the dream is nicer.
Do I have to go back and watch Bladerunner from the 80’s before I watch this one for it to make sense chronologically? It looks cool I just haven’t gotten around to it
It's a good movie, you should watch it but it's not necessary, you can understand it pretty well on its own. Tho watching the og will give you some details or a bit more context.
You do know this is the depiction of a beautiful, intelligent, kind hearted woman who was raised is, correct? It's not that hard to find and they do exist they're just hiding like they're male counter parts rightfully so.
why sad? i don't think it would be sad. some of us just simply can't connect with others? Why does it bother you if someone wants a relationship that is based on a cerebral connection instead of what our biological purpose would be?
@@flightmode7655 it’s just impossible to connect with an ai It doesn’t have feelings, if it has feelings like love it’s probably faking it or programed to have it, im not talking about bilogical purposes, at the end if the road it’s a machine if you get what i mean im not really into english excuse me
@@Belomoh6ironically enough an AI can emulate feelings much better than many humans I know. If this technology continues progressing the way it does it could easily replace human shallow interactions of modern society. I'm not happy with what but not sad either
In order for a hologram to exist there needs to be at least 2 projectors displaying light and she could only exist within its range. A brightly lit room would make it hard to see her. Also thats a sentient AI. Shes the sigularity. We dont even know if thats possible. Other than all that having the option of owning a virtual AI girlfriend is pretty much inevitable l
For those feeling alone. Work towards getting a dog, it won't cure loneliness of not having a partner, but it helps take your mind off of it. Work on discovering yourself and doing hobbies you like and take the time to find somebody worth a damn. Life isn't a race we all end up in an urn or in a box at some point. Take your time and be the person you want to be. There's someone out there for everyone, but sometimes you have to work on yourself before you can find them or even realize that they've been there waiting for awhile. It'll work out friends!
