Hello Subscribers,
This video was filmed at BNSF'S Hobart Yard in the City of Commerce.
This mainline comes from the LA Ports, however the passenger trains launch from LA Union Station roughly 5 miles North West.

cool clips, especially with the drone shots and those where you zoomed in. But what surprises me: it's 2024 and it's a major city, but not a single track seems to be electrified

The usa has actually lost more electrified lines than it's gained in the past century. Outside of the northeast corridor where amtrak owns the tracks, there is almost no electrified rail in the united states sadly. California even passed a law to try and make railroads go to zero-emission and all the freight railroads would rather try to develop battery powered electric trains than build any catenary

Wished it was named "Burlington Santa Fe", or BSF: Much easier to say than "Burlington NORTHERN Santa Fe".
