The Basilica Santa Rosa de Lima in Buenos Aires is the only Byzantine architectural style construction in the entire American continent, it is beautiful! The project, finished in 1928, was in charge of the architect Alejandro Christophersen, who gave it a style that he himself classified as "Romanesque-Byzantine of Perigord", as this was "the desire of the main donors", among whom was María de los Remedios Unzué de Alvear, having been inspired by the Saint Front Cathedral in Perigueux, France, source of inspiration for the architect in charge of the Sacre Coeur de Montmartre, Paul Abadie, a model who would also have influenced its design.
