When I clicked on this video I thought this was all created just for ASMR? I was like "Wow! Now this is dedication!" Then I realized it was an actual video game LOL
I swear every time I visit the game or watch a video of it on Yt I come to realization of how massive this world is, I barely knew some of these places
That's how you know you have a beast gaming rig. You can max it out graphically, and pretty much force the game to show you it's limits. Despite running like butter in this video you can still see objects render in from the distance. I wonder if there's a mod that increase render distance or if theoretically the 4090 can render everything at once in a game like Cyberpunk 2077. Kinda crazy how far hardware has evolved these last few years.
A really great tour of this awesome city of the future from the high class neighborhood to the low class neighborhood, also all of the businesses and other nice places of interest to visit, yeah it does rain a lot here but that's what makes this city so special and that's what makes it interesting to fly over it in your hovercar and just view it all from the air, this is very nice to see from up here,Thank You very much.😎👍 📱📱📱📱
This just proves that fundamentally, Cyberpunk 2077 is a *PC* game , the game was made for computers, im impressed that they managed to make it run on consoles at all, but this is so obviously the way the game is meant to be played.
I think the game was always meant to be on new gen consoles as well as PC. Them putting the game on last gen consoles was a huge mistake. I thankfully waited and got mines on PS5 a couple of months before launched
For sure, it's unfortunate that it was so mismanaged in development that they were forced to release it early coz fans and investors were getting upset and presumably they were running out of money. They recovered nicely with 2.0 but it should have never come to that. It should have been pushed back at least a couple years til next gen consoles were widely available.
@@gman7497 Nah, the 2020 release was decent on PC and I'm not sure why we'd have to wait for budget gamers to purchase another throwaway PC to play the game
It was made for next gen consoles and for good pc, the old gen console wasn’t a good idea and 2020 was too early, I think the release should be 2023 and the dlc 2025 and another 2027. After 2.1 it’s still far away from that what the game should be, alone how much cut content this game have.
@pretzelboi64 good enough to be playable on PC, but far away from what it could have been if they gave it enough time. 2.0 shows what this game could have been if everyone stayed patient. Think about what dlc and features could have been added in if this was the games initial state when it launched.
Looks gorgeous. You gonna make a new one when Update 2.0/Phantom Pain and DLSS 3.5 hits? I think scenes like the one at 9:45 and 18:54 will look a lot better with the improvements
Imagine building a whole f-ing cyberpunk megacity from nothing with neon everywhere and skyscrapers, cool looking people and a billion details. It's unbelievable really. Dunno why some losers hate it. They couldn't even make one single street in 10 years even if they had talent, lol. I've designed futuristic cities since 1998 but never had the time to learn cgi (or maybe i'm just f-ing lazy lol). I luv this game and i respect the creators a lot!
Love these videos of Night City. Can’t wait to see the AI improve for games. For instance, it would be nice to see the NPCs in clear rain gear. Maybe some with LEDs sewn into it. It will give the game that little extra realism.
@@fa8911 I think they mean "Flight Simulator", regardless, it is wishful thinking on their part, especially considering how the former is a single player game only.
I don’t know why anyone uses the 3rd person driving lol. That was so amazing, taking off, all snug in the front seat, then boom, instant disconnect as I stare at a static car model floating in the air.
@@Filhodaestrada. I don't live in a big city. Visited plenty of them but denser populations def have more opportunities for fun but also crime. I'm just scouting for that elusive city with little crime and a lot of good ppl. This could be the one.
You'll see extremely similar views (except for flying cars) if you go to Seoul and walk around at night. Probably other big cities in Japan and China too.
Probably more similar to Tokyo than Seoul. The architecture in Seoul is a bit more messy/ less structured compared to Tokyo, partially because of all the hills, while Tokyos relatively flat.
Not being able to walk around and really interact with NPC's besides a select few, still REALLY kills the game for me.. it makes the game feel lifeless despite the beautiful city.
*The rain sounds are perfect. Hearing the different perspectives, environments and objects getting hit by the rain - 10/10.* *The rain effects are trash, though. It is literally a thin sheet that just hangs over the camera that LOOKS like rain, matched with everything getting a wet texture. Glass/windows get animated rainfall. But the ground, you don't see the rain drops. Cars don't get raindrops on the roof or hood (in visual effects). And so on. Even GTA 5 has those effects. And that game is 2 generations old.*
There isn't any mod available for WIND perhaps? Like the palm trees on the roof looks so static at 01:17:30 while the sounds of the wind is actually pretty noticeable. But apart from a few things in overall it's looks really cool for sure. :) For example at 01:17:50 we can see how trees and the leaves of trees are actually moving by the force of wind or at least the devs tried to implement into the game. But that wind effect on the trees/grass/plants should be more noticable in outdoor areas, where the wind is supposed to be stronger, like on higher places such as rooftops.

Most reflections are way too sharp and completely irrealistic in practice, especially under the rain, it does not make any sense. That's eye candy for techies, and it doesn't seem to bother anyone that you never, ever see that in real life.
The noise of the rain doesn't match how much appears to be falling. They have no proper accumulation of rain water in logical spaces. Furthermore, they should program a proper citywalker mode if they want to show off their city design.
As I walk through the front of my penthouse home. I pass by my sentry bot. As he waits for my command. My economic activities have insulted me well against the unwashed masses. But sometimes I have a desire to return to the old districts. To experience where it all started. But this time around I got more than I bargained for.
you can say anything about the game, how buggy it was at launch, it has a weak plot...but the thing you can't say is that this game was poorly detailed and has bad graphics...it's insane what they did with the game time they had to develop the game, the city is gigantic and very well detailed with incredible graphics and atmosphere
