I like your style. But would be better: * doesn't drink, * doesn't smoke, * enjoys fitness, * gigachad, * man of the culture as well, * ... * enjoys the smell of flowers (in multiple senses).
@@vasiliynkudryavtsev * doesn't drink * doesn't smoke * being of immense violence, but prefers peace and restoration * the solution to violent bad people, is violent good people better at violence * man of culture * enjoys walking with other people * makes certain to appreciate the small things in life * smells the flowers * takes out the trash * lives at thrice the speed of everybody else * smiling sunshine Do you know this person?
This man is built like a tank and practice the delicate job of a doctor. He takes care of others as good as he takes care of himself. All of that while keeping a wide and proud smile and strutting like a boss. Now that is an absolute Gigachad.
Fun fact, the walk is timed so perfectly, that if you hover above the timeline of the video, the image remains still the whole time (unrelated to the 2 times fps increase he has, i think)
I think this is so cool, can’t believe someone hasn’t replied to your comment, saw it a month or 2 ago and then I noticed it but oh well better late than never…
Russian Translatons: Start: Hello there! I’m Doctor Livesey. Middle: Smoking is bad for your health! End: The words “rum” And “ Death” Should mean the same thing to you!
@@lilsanjii1994 sure, but in the manga right now (Spoilers) There is LITERALLY god as an enemy right now, a mysterious being on the Moon who can just 'confiscate' your powers on a whim. Pretty terrifying to look at tbh
That's just what it looks like when you have good posture. When your spine is straight your head naturally tilts up a bit. This is where the phrase "looking down your nose" at someone comes from. Haughty nobles who were trained all their life to stand up straight would talk to people while maintaining their posture and literally look down the bridge of their nose at people.
You have to understand that with Soviet Cartoon Animation it was one of the few outlets where you could freely express yourself and have your talent not impeded by anything but your resources. So they really poured their all into this one special and it shows.
Fun fact: Livesey in the main walking clip is animated at _twice_ the rate than the others along with him, 24 FPS instead 12. The animators considered his walking animation important enough to spend the extra time giving him twice the frames.
@@TheKisj I don’t think it will I feel like the meme will die before the loop gets old Like maybe if you watch 40 minutes it might get old but I’ve watched it all and im not really bummed
Dr liveseys gigachad lessons in this video: 1. Don’t smoke or drink 2. Learn to defend yourself 3. Don’t be afraid of guns 4. Enjoy the little things 5. A little crazy can be good 6. Keep your head up and chest out 7. Walk with CONFIDENCE!
In the book, he is also a battle hardened veteran, and wears the white wig on purpose, even in the tropical heat, to let everyone know that he is a high class gentleman and not a peasant like all the others in the boat.
As a recently licensed EMT, it does make sense to me how making careful observations about someone else's subtle bodily motions and quickly developing a "general impression" could translate well to a sword fight and predicting the opponent's next move. Especially if they have combat experience as Dr Livesay
@@yonahual The wig he wears is actually specific to one of his other titles, he was also a magistrate as well at the colony level where he was originally stationed which meant he had to deal with the issues the colony could face in an official capacity.
When I was a little boy, my dad bought me a VHS cassette “Treasure island”. At first time I watched it three times, it was magnificent moment of my childhood. And then I met Doctor Livesey, a man who tought me to be optimistic, never surrender and not to be afraid of difficulties. If I could know that my hero of childhood would become the greatest chad of the World
@@pickleboi9776 no, its just that you’re taking the cream from those cartoons and comparing them to the average cartoon characters from now and comparing them. Take the cream of this generation against the cream of the older ones and you’ll see that our generation truly has better cartoon characters.
The other two have a super basic walk cycle with their hands in their pockets and everything. Livesey is strutting like a gigachad. Edit: normally I don't bother to edit these comments, but it has come to my attention a few dozen times that Jim and Trelawney have oversized sleeves and I mistook the cuffs for pockets. Still, the point remains that Livesey got 100% of the animation budget here.
Phonk is amazing, have you noticed? Like.. no one, literally no one complains about Phonk ever being played.. if you don't know what to play, just put Phonk on,..
For context: When he snatches away the pipes, he is literally telling the pirates that they are so out of breathe due to smoking tobacco that they will now die because they can't regain their oxygen. They then proceed to die, with him smiling at them the whole time.
Two seconds of a character from an obscure piece of media from the 80s simply walking gets immortalized as a meme by the internet. It's like Morshu all over again. The internet is a wonderfull thing
Hello. Why do you think: "from an obscure piece of media 80th"? There were more than two hundred million inhabitants in the USSR at that time. This cartoon was shown for a long time after the collapse of the USSR. So add, to those who saw him then, a couple more generations. The fact that this cartoon is in Russian does not mean that it is little known. By the way, it contains references to several films from the USA. For example, an episode where a pirate shoots a cannon like a machine gun is a reference to "Rambo 2".
It is actually impressive to not drink or smoke given how pervasive that stuff is in cultures all over the world. Hats off to all those who stay away from that stuff like I do
"The Words Rum and Death should mean the same thing to you!" This is literally a way better Anti-Drinking Message than all Anti-Drinking Messages I've seen in my life.
I'm personally not against drinking but do always encourage safe and responsible drinking in moderation. I think it's fine to enjoy a drink or two once in a while.
It works well because he’s charismatic, not because it’s an effective message. It’s quite general and without Dr Livesay to back it up it wouldn’t be very persuasive compared to, say, a depressing description of the life of an alcoholic
I smoke weed and don't drink alcohol. But I'm not alpha like a Chad or Dr. Levsey, I'm femboy, i have half female figure and appearance. I like wear s l u t clothes. I'm so horny like a girl 🥵💖
DR LIVESEY: -he is buff af -he is confident -he isnt a pessimist (pessimism is literally for loosers) -he is a incredible marksman (skill with shooting guns accurately) -he is educated -he is interested into the wellbeing of himself and those around him (hence the health advice) -he is cheerful and positive even in dangerous and outright life threatening situations -dat walk -apparently is skilled in sword fighting and/or fencing etc diagnosis? CHAD cure? HE IS THE CURE.
I dunno about an incredible marksman. He certainly makes shooting flintlock pistols look good but he doesn't hit anything (neither does anybody else's gun, granted)
Because it exactly how he'd look; build like a upside down triangle with shoulders an armor could be jealous of and a smile with teeth that could probably chomp down a tree.
Treasure Island was a book? Didn't know that. Like they could have really made him a guy in a generic doctor outfit and appearance, but nah. They made him radiate pure godly energy.
People born in the USSR and their post-Soviet children who watched this cartoon in their childhood are especially nostalgic watching this meme after so many years after the first viewing. And I am no exception, this hero shone again but with renewed vigor.
Yeah the first few times I saw it again was when nostalgia hit but now the more I see of it the more it’s ruining the nostalgia around it but that’s probably just me
